Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I have two specific criteria in my running and workout shorts: they need to be light, and they must have at least one pocket that will hold an ID card. These shorts meet those criteria, and they go above and beyond. For example, there are actually 3 pockets, two on the sides and one in the middle back. All three have secure closures, which gives a sense of security. The pockets seem oddly-placed at first, until you actually put something in them; then you realize they are designed to keep stuff out of the way of your running stride!

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: The side pockets are ingenious -- they are perfectly placed so stuff doesn't bounce around when you run. HOWEVER, the hook/loop closure on the side pockets doesn't run the entire length of the pocket, so little things like car keys have a tendency to jump out of them! (Yes, this happened to me on trail run. I was totally lucky to have someone find my key!) I use little resealable plastic bags to hold my driver's license, one credit card, and a couple of bills, and it fits perfectly in the side pocket without sneaking out. The car key now goes in the backside zip pocket, and it stays where it should!

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: After 2 weekends of running in the rain in 9" shorts I needed a change. These shorts are short enough to allow full uncomprimised extenstion of the legs even in the rain without the extra water weight from rain or sweat! The two side pocks that are actually in the rear are great for carrying gels, gum, Ipod Shuffel or Nano. The rear waistline zip pocket is a great added touch for keys.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I keep looking at other brands but always come back to the RRS shorts. I love these as well as the Velocity shorts. They fit well, are comfortable, and have enough pockets for all my Gu Chomps on long runs/races. No other brand seems to have as much storage as RRS shorts. So I don't wear any other brand anymore (except a very comfortable pair of Adidas for short runs).

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: This pair of shorts is short enough without being too short. Dries quickly and feels comfortable, even on long runs. I love the three pockets, but the only drawback, and what keeps these shorts from being perfect, is that there isn't enough Velcro to completely close the pockets. I've had Gu fall out a couple of times. Highly recommend these, though.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: Stellar shorts--bought to replace a pair of high-line shorts that cost double what the velocities cost, and found an even better short--light, soft, durable, with perfectly placed little pockets for keys and music. The length is perfect (just above mid thigh), they don't creep up, and they dry in a heartbeat. Tremendous value, buying more today. On top of that, a great company with great values,[...], and with shoes organized so I can find stuff for my jacked-up feet and knees (which continue to get faster and run longer). A very nice experience--thanks!

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I really like the material and the pockets are a nice addition. They are light weight and wick well. The only flaw I noticed is that they started to ride up a bit on my tempo runs. Overall a very good short though.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I usually buy cheaper running shorts, but this time I thought I would spend a little more. Glad I did, these shorts are wonderful, especially design for runners. Love how the side pockets are designed and back middle pocket is perfect for my mp3 player. Seriously thinking about buying another pair.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: These are excellent runner's shorts. They fit well, and have a supportive brief built-in (that prevents thigh chafing). They have thoughtful details such as a gel/mp3 player pocket, key pocket, and velcro-closing slash side pockets. I haven't had them long enough to judge their durability, but they seem well made with double stitching at stress points, flat seams. They look nice too.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: Use on my long runs to store my GU and extras, pockets hold plenty, back zipper hard to close while on the run, maybe it just needs to get broken in. But overall - love them.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I originally purchased running shorts identical to these at twice the price from a big name brand manufacturer. The shorts were perfect but expensive so I gave these RR shorts a try. WOW! They've held up better and are more comfortable than the big name brand shorts! I've been running in these shorts 3 years and they've been perfect. The pockets are in the exact right place for running while carrying small items like gels, car key/fob, ipod, credit card, DL, etc...

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I was pleasantly surprised by these shorts. They fit well, seem very well made and are good looking. The only improvement I would make is to make the zipper pocket in the back just a little bit bigger so a cell phone will fit.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I'm a 25 to 35 mile per week runner and compete in 5K, 10K, and 1/2 M events. I love the room and comfort of these shorts. In the past, have preferred a shorter inseam, but I really like this 5" inseam. Also, these shorts have plenty of pockets for jells, keys, etc.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: Was tired of my baggy longer running shorts that were comfortable but really look dorky--something I discovered after seeing pictures of myself wearing them. Searched at different general box sports stores and didn't like anything. Initially I was a bit hesitant at the length--both my wife and I uttered a 'whoa...those are shorter' when I tried them on. I've since worn them several times and totally like them. Great pockets, appropriate length for running (I won't wear them to the gym probably), and they feel great except for that tag in the back. Will be getting another pair sometime soon.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: I use these shorts for runs between 6 and 15 miles in length, on trails and pavement. The fabric has a substantial feel, but is breathable and dries quickly. I love the zippered pocket in the back; it's perfect for carrying a key.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: Bought these looking for something with closable pocket that can contain small running wallet for long runs. Pockets are too small and the velcro is difficult to manage with the soft fabric. Zipper on current running shorts much easier to use.

Comments about Mens R-Gear High Five 5" Lined Shorts: These are the best running shorts I've ever had. I've ordered many shorts off RR and had many that just don't fit right. These provide great support and a great fit. Pockets in the back are awesome and out of the way. I bought 3 more pair after my first one and all fit exact same. I'm 6'1 195, so not a great runners build and am very happy with the fit. I've run 20 marathons and usually do 35-40 miles per week so have gone through lots of other clothes to compare to. These breathe well and I don't notice problem when they are soaked from a long run sweating or rain. I highly recommend.
