These pants were purchased to run in the cold, windy, New England winter. I've had the pleasure of running in these twice in temps below 20 F with substantial winds included on one of the runs. Very pleased with these. Wind and warmth were acceptable, the quality seems very good. The wife who is avid runner also gives a thumbs up.

I bought these to use on a trip to the Midwest.
I hit the roads of a cold Wisconsin spring this year and these pants kept me more than warm but not over heated. They fit just right and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to run outside in not ideal conditions.

These have great fit, except that they are much too long for my leg length. The waist and crotch fit me well, but the inseam length is a good 4 inches too long for me (5'6").

If you're looking for a truly windproof pant or tight that is also warm, these are for you. I'm not fully comfortable with the snugness of the tights and found these pants to be extremely comfortable (and versatile too!). Wind blocking capability is off the charts and the warmth is ideal. I've used them twice already in 30 degrees Fahrenheit temps and they are way warm. I'll run in colder temps and won't worry a bit based on my experience and the feedback from some of the other reviews. Size Large fits my 34 waist with comfortably (Medium was too snug across the seat). They're a bit long and could be more breathable below the knees but that isn't a deal breaker. I'm very happy with these pants and I usually never ever do reviews.

SIDE NOTE: I exchanged Warmer Performer tights for these pants and the customer service on the phone and in the store (Shrewsbury, NJ) was outstanding. Also, consider the VIP plan, totally worth it.

I've worn these out for a ride on my bike in 30 degree weather with a good wind and they kept my legs warm. Excellent wind resistance and breathability.

I needed a pair of running pants that would shield my legs from the winter wind and keep me dry. The pants were long ( I have a 29 in. leg inseam, the pants are 32 in. The positive from this is that the bottoms of the legs go over the tops of my Asics Kayanos and protect my ankle area.
