For years I have had a terrible chaffing problem to the point where I would get terribly painful blisters on my inner thighs. I have tried numerous pairs of shorts like these. I bought a pair from RR years ago that work ok but they are not as supportive as these and things don't sit right. I bought these hoping. the minute I put them on I knew I had what I have been endlessing searching for. The give nice comfortable support and I know I will be ale to walk for hours in the heat shopping with my and at the end of the day not look like an upside down letter 'Y'! I bought 2 to start and I am buying 2 more. Thanks you!

These are a great pair of shorts. They give great support on my long runs and for my recovery time. They are very comfortable and be worn alone or under another pair of shorts. The moisture wicking is unbelievable. I wore them on one of my last long run and when I finished the shorts were not wet.

Now that running tights weather is over its back to running in shorts... trouble is, this also means its back to inner thigh chaffing. While anti-chaffing products help... they are no where near as effective as a simple pair of compression shorts. And, these RRS Velocity 8" compression briefs are perfect for that purpose. Purchased to aid recovery from groin injury. They provide good compression and only ride up a little with extended wear. Breath adequately for short workouts - 2hr or less.

I have been using these for biking and find them to be very comfortable. They don't ride up, and are thin enough to wear under any other clothing.
