these shorts are just what i've been looking for, I run 30-40 miles a week most of the year, so proper fitting shorts are critical and i also love that these shorts are offered in steel grey, most shorts are always in black, which i hate because they're too hot to wear in the summer...the length is perfect, not so short that they ride up on you and not so long that they restrict movement and chafe, also unlike most other brands, the waist is not abnormally tight, i'm 5'11" and 180 lbs and the xl's fit perfectly, no restrictive waist or flaring in the legs...after running in them a couple times i went back and purchased an additional pair...the material is a little thinner, more optimal for warmer weather, but i've worn them in low 40's with no issues...i highly recommend these shorts!!!

We row every morning in a double scull for 30-35 minutes. These shorts although designed and intended for runners are also just right for rowers: light, comfortable, allow movement and don't look too bad.

Unfortunately, there is the occasional southern California winter day when I need something warmer but you can't have everything!

I'm an older age group competitive runner and need comfortable shorts with lots of storage. I bought a pair of these last year and loved them. This year I bought two more pair and am still happy they seemed to have changed a bit. Last year's model had two key pockets inside plus a zipper pocket in the back. This year's model seems to only have one key pocket and it's in an awkward spot. Otherwise great shorts.

i have been on three runs in these shorts all 8 mile runs and they hold up great thats after 3 washes no shrinkage still fit great have not had a use for it yet but the pockets on these shorts are great too i will be buying more of these shorts very pleased

Marathon runner, 40+ miles/week St. Louis hot + humid summer. Normal summer run humidity is 67% to 80%

I was pleasantly surprised to find the shorts stayed dry throughout the 14 mile run, no discomfort , clinging or chafing. They look & feel great.

I have not carried anything in the pocket, but the rear zip pocket looks to be well constructed & stitched.

My go to summer long run short. Buying 2 more pair.

I've been on two runs in these shorts, 10 and 13 miles. The whole time I was running I wished I had not worn them. They do not dry quickly and instead hold sweat becoming heavy for the entire run. These are the only shorts that have chafed me. They may be fine for short runs.

I've bought a lot of cheaper running shorts over the years. I bought a pair of these to try them out. They are the most comfortable and best-looking running shorts I own. I quickly ordered another pair. The seams are flat, the lining comfortable, and I like the back zippered pocket for my iPod and hotel room key when I'm traveling.

Previously Nike was the only short I was comfortable in for running and gym wear. Now I may have a new favorite. Great fit. I cannot stand the baggy shorts, I have no idea how people run and workout in them? These have a nice fit without being too short. Love the pockets; 2 inside and one back. Draw string waist is nice although the elastic band seems very stable as well.

I picked a pair of these shorts up in the new Atlanta RRS store in metro Atlanta earlier this week. I wore them in hilly trail race this morning. The combination of great sizing and lightweight material give these shorts a very comfortable ride. The unrestricted leg movement is one less thing to think about when attacking hills. The temperatures were in the high forties; no issues. The back zippered pocket is perfect for a large car key - much more comfortable than using front purpose made key pockets.

Very comfortable, light pair of minimalist running shorts. I do not understand, tho, moving the internal pocket to the rignt of the front seam. Not a comfortable location for keys-maybe thats the reason for the rear zipper pocket on the back seam. Other than logic of the pockets, a great pr of shorts.

I usually run with 5" shorts, however these are awesome! Great for really hot days, or where lots of sprinting is involved. I don't recommend carrying anything with these shorts, as they are catre to the minimalistic runner. But they sure do feel good, and don't chafe :)

Great fit and short enough not to bunch up in the crotch but long enough so you don't feel like you're running in your underwear.

Great light shorts that aren't actually too short for the gym and treadmill. Like the rear pocket, like the cut - no constraint in my stride. I think you'll like them.
