I recently wore these shorts for a half marathon and the inner brief rubbed my legs raw by the end of the race. It didn't bother me during the race, but I could certainly feel it afterwards. Inner brief could be more comfortable.

On runs over 6 miles, chaffing becomes a serious problem. These shorts have a great liner that completely protects against chaffing. A draw string allows me to clip my iPhone to the waist band too. I run 6 miles about 4 times a week so I need at least three pairs of shorts. I had a hard time finding shorts that don't chafe so I'm very happy to have found these. I plan on getting several more pairs.

Very comfortable to run in, although likely too much fabric for competitive runners on race day. Able to run errands after a run and not feel as though I need to change out of my running shorts.

I really like the RR branded stuff. I have a pair of 7" shorts that have lasted years. They have side pockets and a zipper pocket in the back. If they would put the side pockets into this short, they would be perfect.

These are my go to shorts for training runs. They're lightweight and move with me without riding up. The only downside are the pockets. The key/mp3 pocket in my shorts will not hold a key on a run. The key falls out every time only to be held in by the inner-liner. Now I put my key in the zippered back pocket but there's no place for gels on a long run. That said for straight up running they are my favorite.

Probably the best feeling shorts I own (after I trimmed out the inner liner). The only concern that I have is that the "royal blue" are more of a "carribean blue".

Can't wear when you want to put your gloves, hat, headband in your pocket. Can fit very little in back pocket. Would have returned them had I not been so lazy.

A very nice pair of shorts. They have by far been my best running shorts. I really like the zippered pocket for energy gel, and my house key. I also like the length, my wife picks on me when my running shorts are "too" short.

The only thing that I don't like is the draw string, every time I wash them I have to fish it out of the waistband, it is a little too long and it gets wrapped around other things in the dryer.

I have never bought a poor product from RRS and these are no exception. A very good option

Just bought 4 more pair after using these shorts a few times. They are extremely comfortable but supportive with the inner brief. I run, weight lift, and generally workout with these shorts and they perform well in all situations. They also look fairly sharp and I would feel comfortable to wear them as casual shorts around town.

A solid, comfortable, multipurpose pair of shorts. They will not set the gold-standard, but for the price you would be hard-pressed to find better. They've been through many workouts, and several races & have more than earned their keep.

I really like these shorts with the liner, I don't need underwear with them. The fabric is lightweight and breathable. I will definitely buy these again.

I was looking for a solid running short for high temps. Most are too long or too short, these are just right. The waistband is very wide and comfortable, the weight is just right. I do 15-20 miles a week and just ordered another 3 pair of these shorts.

Great pants, and the blue is a great color! They don't restrict movement, so sprinting in them is a breeze. Also, unlike the older version of these, there are no pockets, making them lighter and less bulky, and all around better than before.

These shorts are very comfortable and stylish. Can't comment on durability, but seem well constructed.

These are a great running short that would work well in the gym! I've run 8 miles and they were as comfortable as can be. There was no chaffing and the inner liner is as comfortable as can be. I fit two gels in the back zip pocket and due to almost forgot that I had them in there. No 'bouncing' at all. The shorts are very soft to the feel but are durable and have a quality feel. Do yourself a favor and make these YOUR new favorite running shorts. I bought two and am now ordering my third pair!
