Like how these fit, though they are on the shorter side. Have used them alone and under other shorts (fine both ways). Construction seems very good. The pocket is a big plus. Going to get a pair of 7" too for the extra length. Sized right ("S" fits 5'8", 30" waist).

I've been a fan of wearing RRS compression shorts on my runs for several years now. I actually preferred the shorter Women's 6" short over the Men's 7" that I originally purchased. I was very glad to see RRS add the 5" version for men this year because these are the best shorts for running in; particularly in the heat of the summer. The 5" is great, shows some leg but not too much and maintains its fit over a long run or day working out. Thanks RRS for making a great shorter compression short for guys.

I have run in several different length RRS compression shorts and they work great as liners or by themselfs. Really like using them with my CW-X running tights because they prevent irritations from the seams in the CW-X.

I used it for running and bikrahm yoga. Snug and not too tight.

Bought the 7" version of these shorts, size medium, last year when I was 20 pounds heavier. I liked those enough to try a size small this year and, since I also use them for yoga, decided to go with the 5". They feel as expected, just a little shorter. :)

Shorter than you think, the inseam was actually just over 4", but great for hot weather. On long hot runs 13+ miles chafing was becoming a problem, glide just wasn't lasting long enough, and these worked great. They are a bit warmer due to the thick fabric, but good support and no chafing

Bought them in my quest to solve chaffing issues.....I have big legs regardless of fitness level. lol And they have just kept growing on me ever since I'd try others but I can't stand shorts going to my knees especially in summer and the length on these is perfect. Took me 2 months to realize I had a pocket but I love it to death, I live with my mp3 and I hate arm straps, extra. I also stopped double layering them with compression boxers and just started wearing them alone around the house and they are [*] comfy for chilling especially in summer. Can't speak on any compression shorts but these but I can say they work for mtb wk running long short or mid and no durability issues to date. Also I've kept buying them because I can't find simular length shots with a pocket >.> and my tan line is hilarious enuf with out pushing it lower.
