I bought this for my bicycle ride to work in the rain or wind. I haven't used it all that often but when I did my shirt would be wet. I thought it was just sweat until I decided to wear it to work in the rain instead of my slightly heavier Asics jacket. I would have been better wearing a mesh football jersey. This thing is a sieve. If you want to wear something that will posibly keep you dry buy anything else. The other reviews mention a bad zipper and I agree but it wasn't enough to prompt a review. Sitting in my drenched work shirt after wearing this jacket is however enough to spur me to action. Don't buy this jacket for rain protection if it gets restocked. It is good for wind and reflectivity. It is also very lightweight.

This is a great jacket and reasonably priced. However, the zipper is a fatal flaw. I have gone through two of these now. The first time I assumed it was my fault by misaligning the zipper, so I ordered another one. Same thing happened again. The stitching at the bottom of the zipper is flimsy. The teeth are small and plastic. Once it jams it is very difficult to get it loose. The plastic zipper teeth get damaged and it just keeps jamming.

I like this jacket. It is lightweight and doesn't provide a lot of warmth, but it's great for that outer layer. I've used it in the rain and it keeps you dry. I haven't had an issue with the zipper.

Like a previous review, the zipper is horrible. A heavy duty metal zipper, but it takes careful aligning and strength to get it to engage. I wear it as a pullover now and actually wear it as a casual jacket as it is very stylish. I'll use an old windbreaker for running.

This is a fantastic jacket made bad by the zipper. I sent one back they sent me a new one. Same problem. Good luck getting it zipped or unzipped. They have included a two zipper system, but the upper zipper doesn't feel right and won't let the zipper feed and seat right into the lower one without jockeying it around. Once zipped, it rarely comes undone without quite a to-do. After having to mess with it time and time again, it will ultimately fail, as did my first one. Sending this one back. NOT RECOMMENDED.

First, I absolutely love this jacket. I am a distance runner - starting before sunrise (chilly/cold weather) and ending as a sweaty mess when its warmer. This jacket is perfect for me - it keeps me warm and refreshingly cool at the same time. It is light as a feather, the air flows perfectly thru it (wind doesn't slow you down) and it looks great. There is, however, a very significant and frustrating flaw - the zipper is seriously ridiculous. Once you get the sliders just right at the bottom, it will zip up and down just fine - the problem is that these little buggers do not want to play nice in the connect/disconnect phase. It took me 10 minutes to get it lined up perfectly at the bottom so that the jacket would zip closed! When I was done with my run, I tried to unzip it and the sliders would not disconnect at the bottom to open - I had to take the jacket off like a pull over which will, from now on, be the way that I put it on/take it off so that I don't break the zipper accidentally. Such a strange flaw for such an incredible running staple. If only Road Runner could get this resolved, I'd stock my closet with these in every color.
