I use this brief for winter running and snowboarding. This brief does the trick. It blocks the cold air where it counts. But still gives enough room so it is not tight. I was using some old swim briefs to block the cold during my runs. But since I have found this I will never go back. The front panel is wind breaker material and runs a little long into the crotch area of the brief but not so much where it is a nusuance. The interior of the brief is a very soft micro fleece material. The brief is very comfortable. Just make sure you order your pants size cause this brief does run very true to size. It doesn't stick out if you wear running tights. It stays in pace for long runs. Another great brief from RRS!!!!

I wear these briefs when working as a ski instructor and while free-skiing. I've had several brands of briefs over the years (LIFA and Helly-Hansen) and I believe the RRS briefs are as good or better than any I have owned.

Ran seven miles in these in Vermont when the wind chill was -16F. I wore them under a medium thickness pair of tights, and they were great. It was cold enough that my eye lashes were freezing together. Trust me, I've experienced the pain of insufficient protection on cold windy days. If you plan to run through northern winters, you need these.

A very comfortable brief that actually keeps everything warm down there. It's a little tight so I'm not sure if it's great for every day use, but for long runs in the cold it's my go-to underwear.

I have used these underwear a couple times. They are very warm and block the wind very well. They are comfortable but they are cut higher then I like underwear.

This pair is the third I've owned of this product. The first two pair were purchased a couple of years ago, and it has since been improved. Now it is true to size, rather than running small.

These things are super to use under tights for chilly runs. I'm very satisfied with them, and recommend them highly.

In addition to trying the wind-blocking boxer briefs, I tried these briefs. My waist is 37", so a large should fit according to the sizing guide, but these were uncomfortably tight. I suggest ordering your estimated size and one size up.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas because he wanted another pair of briefs for cold weather running. The size is correct, but there is too much of the windbreaker material in the crotch area and it bunched up to make them uncomfortable. He's going to exchange them for something else.
