 Comments about Mens R-Gear Ready To Win 2-in-1 7" Shorts: These shorts are probably best for gym use, not so much for running. They are heavy due to a thick liner and zipper/pockets. I've run in these many times and the downfall is the liner seams are thick and start to chafe in areas on long runs. If you plan to run in these, lube up! Pros

The inner lining is a compression short. which is real nice in the gym, if I happen to feel like riding the bike for awhile. They also work great running. I'm looking forward to using them in the cooler weather this fall. They are very comfortable.

Comments about Mens R-Gear Ready To Win 2-in-1 7" Shorts: This short is the best all around short you can buy. I use it for circuit training, short runs, very long runs(marathons), as well as competitive obstacle course events. You will never ever chafe in these shorts due to the superior inner liner that keeps everything where it belongs and disallows thigh chaffing. I own 5 pairs of these as I use them while instructing, personal work-outs, and competitions. I truly abuse these shorts, but they last way beyond their purchase price.

Comments about Mens R-Gear Ready To Win 2-in-1 7" Shorts: I usually wear a medium and actually have some earlier RRS 2 in 1 model shorts that fit fine. These are definitely smaller and I had to go up in size to a Large. They still are slightly snug but close enough. Nice short but go one size larger, at least.

I specifically asked if they were appropriate for hot and humid climates and was told that was not a big problem. After I wore these for 10 minutes I knew they would not work in a hot climate. Since unable to return the pair I wore, I will attempt to wear them in December. They also seem to restrict my movement.

Comments about Mens R-Gear Ready To Win 2-in-1 7" Shorts: Has a nice zipper pocket in the back right side that's slightly off center that holds keys very close to your hip so they don't move around much. Also has two open pockets on the side that are handy for holding stuff after you run. Has a boxer compression liner in it that's comfortable but a little loose, but if you wanted serious compression you would probably be using some dedicated compression shorts instead anyway.
