Comments about Mens R-Gear Night Watch Outerwear Jackets: I have worn this often in Southern California during the Winter with a long sleeve Dri Fit shirt underneath for 45 minute outdoor jogging. The weather is about 35 to 50 degrees fahrenheit. I am 6'2" and about 245 lbs. The Extra Large size fits very well. It might be a little long but that may just be the style. The blue color looks spectacular.

Comments about Mens R-Gear Night Watch Outerwear Jackets: If you normally get XL, I'd suggest going with the L on this one. I read a few of the reviews about the sizing and took their advise. So glad I did. It fits perfect. Very breathable and dries fast. I feel much safer running after dark in this one. Thanks RRS!

Cons Best Uses Comments about Mens R-Gear Night Watch Outerwear Jackets: I normally wear an XL in jackets and tops (I am 6' 2" and 220 pounds). This was the first XL top I have purchased from Roadrunner Sports that didn't fit me. The overall length of the jacket was more like an XL tall - the bottom hem of the jacket came down well below my butt and I could barely get the zipper together. The sleeves came down to my knuckles (more like a tall). The chest was very tight, especially in the armpits and restricted my arms when I tried to move with the jacket on (more like a medium.). I returned it without wearing it to run. The quality of the jacket appeared to be on par with other clothing I have bought from Roadrunner Sports but the issues with the fit lowered the score.

Comments about Mens R-Gear Night Watch Outerwear Jackets: Overall I really like this medium weight jacket. Quality materials throughout. I wear it when the temp is around 40 - 50 degrees, with my long sleeve running shirt and shorts and feel fine. I'm 5'10", about 180lbs and feel the Large size I got is a little long, hanging well below my hips.

Comments about Mens R-Gear Night Watch Outerwear Jackets: ...for runners who run in limited visibility conditions. I live in a remote community in the Hi Desert of Southern California. I typically run between 5:00am and 6:30am. It gets pitch black and temperatures drop into the mid 20s to low 30s during hours of darkness and sustained winds can get to 25 mph, but accelerate often to 35 mph to 40 mph during the winter months. To give you an idea of fit, I am 5'8", 175 lbs with a 34" waist. I initially tried it on and liked the fit. It was not snug, but not loose either. The jacket fit well around my waist and did not creep up while I ran. The material was lighter than I expected so I had my doubts. I ran 6 miles with it this morning. Winds were about 5 mph and the temperature was 34 degrees. I layered with a dry-fit long sleeve quarter zip top. I was hot initially and was concerned about poor ventilation, but it quickly balanced and I was comfortable. The other concern I had was the built-in LED lighting blinking/shinning in my face while I ran. It wasn't even in my peripheral vision! The on/off "switch" is a push button just below the light strip on the right chest embedded inside the jacket. It's a little goofy in placement, but not at all difficult to operate and the switch is removable for laundering.

Comments about Mens R-Gear Night Watch Outerwear Jackets: Great jacket for running before sunrise. As a tall woman I had to get the men's jacket as the woman's selves were too short. If you run or bike in low light conditions, this jacket is a must for safety.
