In all seriousness, I use these briefs to replace some of the "built-in" liners that come with many running shorts. Sometimes those liners are too baggy and do not provide enough support. In those cases, I cut them out and wear these instead. Works great and really comfortable. The best gear is the stuff you never have to think about and these definitely qualify. Perfect for both short (3-6 miles) and longer (7-14 miles) runs. Wife even likes me to vacuum the house in them. Great moisture management and you can't even feel that they are on. Price is also the best I have seen (I got the 3-pack). Going to try them out for the upcoming Tough Mudder in Bever Creek, CO this June which should put them (and me) to the real test...

It is time to buy another pair of RRS briefs. I have worn them in training and races and love the RRS briefs. Never had any problems with the briefs and am buying them again

I had a pair of Brooks Runderwear that I've probably run 2000 miles in, and they're finally coming apart.
I was able to get three pair of these for the same price as ONE Runderwear.
So far, they are just as comfortable and provide similar support. I'll have to see how long they last.

These are the best running briefs I have have ever had. Ran 22 miles last week getting ready for the Cleveland marathon and they were perfect. I have purchased Road Runner gear for years and they have always been excellent products.

I use these briefs for long runs over 5 miles and gym use. They are a great fit and comfortable. They wick mooisture and stay in place. I love the material. These briefs are way better than cotton. Other reviews say the waist sits high. I am 6'4" and 226 pounds I bought the XL just to be safe and they fit perfectly. I love them so much I am buying another pack. You cannot go wrong with these briefs!!!

Very satisfied with the purchase. I bought both the black and grey 3 packs and use them very regularly during cold weather training. Tried them for everyday use as well and they are versatile and comfortable. Highly recommended for running.

[...] I thought they were too thin to provide "support" for men. But from my first run, they are really comfortable and supportive!! They are really lightweight and do not pinch or bunch at all. The only change I would make is to make them a bit shorter. I feel the waist band is a bit high, but that's personal preference. Great product for the price!!

After several years, had to purchase some new briefs. The durability and comfort of the prior RRS product was superb. I couldn't believe it but the new product is even better! I won't even try anything else. Highly recommended!

I've bought this product before and it lasted several years, this is why I purchased it again. It can be used both in sports as well as regular daily use. The sizing is slightly small because of the elastic waistband. All in all, a great product.

personally don't like relying on the liner you find in most running shorts,. so these fit for the purpose quite well. Really can't stand wearing regular cotton briefs when running, so these are a welcome alternative and very comfortable.

I started using these briefs a few years ago and now they are the only briefs I wear. They last longer than traditional cotton and dont chafe. Great for running and for everyday wear.

I work out 4-5 days per week and play competitive USTA league tennis. This is my third order of this item and they keep improving the product every time. Dry, cool, comfortable, durable. Highly recommended. Very fairly priced.

used well for running in warm weather, they are pretty thin material, but looks like it will holdup. the waistband rides higher then i prefer, but It is not a problem.

I have ridden shorter distances (12 miles) and run (8-10) in these and although a little high waisted, the majority of the brief are very comfortable. There is somewhat of a fabrication flaw where it feels like there's a piece of elastic in the crotch that is bunched up and causes chafing at longer distances. It might just be the 3 pack that I bought, but I think it's how they're designed. I started with some Brooks that are almost silky, and have had zero negative feedback on them. They're a good deal more expensive, but if you're looking for something for shorter distances, I think these RR drawers would be good. Spend a little more if you're going to put in distance.

(I wouldn't call these "poor craftsmanship" as a whole, but that one piece prevents me from scoring higher.)

I have found the Black to be true to size (I have 35-36" waist) and maybe even a little bit tight around the legs (not waist), so I do not agree with the previous comment to buy a size down. My grey ones are not as tight. While these are good and an excellent value, I think I still prefer the Under Armour Boxer Jock.

No chafing, but could offer more support. I agree with the one review that suggested you buy one size smaller. Could also use a wind panel like the old RRS briefs I still have and have used for years.

These are great to wear under tights, cycling shorts, or even just thermal underwear when it gets cold. The underwear are the only part that gets sweaty and smelly anyway, so you can minimize what you need to wash. They breathe well, also.

Extremely comfortable. Good 'hold' without feeling too tight or constraining. I use them for running and working out. Will definitely be ordering more. I haven't had the problems with the elastic others have referenced.

I ran 15 miles in these briefs during my Sunday long run and they are very comfortable with no chafing and great support. The temperature at the start of my run was 35 F which I consider perfect.

I also use them at the Gym under my compression shorts and they provide excellent support for strength training and spin biking.

These are the ONLY brief that I have found that feel like the "built in" briefs that I can wear with shorts that lack that feature. Wear to workout indoors as well and give me an option to wearing regular briefs. I'm not a "strap" guy. I was just adding to my "collection" as I need to retire some of these I've had for a few years (yes, they last !).

I bought these years ago for running but I use them for everything. I found the previous version good but less than ideal. Beyond running, these are my go to underwear for climbing (I spent the last year in the Andes just with this underwear), hiking, walking in cities, and even for airline travel because they are comfortable. The do not irritate, they provide plenty of support, the dry quickly (wash them in the hotel), and last forever. I look forward to buying my next three pack but since these last so long I don't know when that will be.

I still like these a lot, but I've bought them on three different occasions and there have been three different designs, which makes me nervous when they keep tinkering with it, because the first version was the one I liked best. The second version had a seam running right down the middle in front, which wasn't bad but not as comfortable as the seamless. Then the third version still had the seam and fit a little more snug than the previous two. Still comfortable and still the best I've found, but I wish they'd leave well enough alone. If it ain't broke..! etc. etc.
