I love these shorts for my longer runs of 8 to 13 miles. the lenght and compression are just what I need. No problem with any chafing. sounds like some of the other reviewers should have tried their gear out on a short run for the first time rather than going long or doing a race.

I second the tightness at the bottom of the short, but that really shouldn't discourage anyone from trying them out. The 9" seems to be just the right length for me (5'11") and the compression makes a noticeably positive difference.

terrible shorts. I used these for a 50k mountain race-terrapin mtn. 50k in va. After 9 miles the "boys" were rubbed raw from the seams . luckily I had a real long second shirt i could use to protect the boys.

Great running tights. Feels good during the run, has good moisture control, and is great for running in warm weather. I use almost only tights for running, as I am very sensitive to skin chafing, and I find this product to be perhaps the best I used yet - definitely the best bang for buck.

I have been looking for something different then your typical running short. I do a lot of cycling and find my cycle shorts to be very comfortable, these are just like them without the padding.

I bought my fist pair of RRS Compression shorts roughly ten years ago (in my marathon years). These new shorts are great; I couldn't believe the improvements they made; and I can still run in my originals if I want to. That's quality!

I really a a fan of the fit of the shorts. I recently moved from cycling to running so I was very use to the form fitting shorts never quite cared for standard athletic shorts. Decided to give the shorts a shot and love them.

I wear compression shorts to reduce friction when I run and in the past I have used other brand names that offered little support and were so thin they tore after only a few wears, these are high quality very supportive and a great fit for a decent price, I liked them so much I went back for second pair, they can be used all around if you want to for swimming and biking as well although I only used them for running

Good quality shorts. I would have given 5 stars, but I tend to get some chafing in the groin area where the crotch panel seams meet. Body glide helps quite a bit unless I forget or don't have it. After 6 miles, it's chafe city.

I got these mainly to stop chafing; these shorts have stopped all chafing and have helped with muscle fatigue. I have ran two 10 milers in the last week and a few shorter runs with them and I will be buying a few more pairs. Great investment for the price.

I've done two 10 milers in these shorts and several shorter runs, and haven't had any problems. No chafing or rubbing at all. I am 6'4" and these shorts are long enough for me, which is rare. I highly recommend these shorts!

This was the first pair of compression shorts I tried and they fit and feel great. You get the benefits from compression on your hamstrings without getting overheated on warmer days. The bottom of the leg openings are snug without being too tight. The waistband is comfortable and they wick moisture very well.
