Great shorts all around. The price is good. Still own 3 pairs of the last generation baggies and they are still holding up fine. Are they going to discontinue them? If not, stick to solid colors instead of 2-tones. Everyting else is right on.

Comments on the sizes are interesting. I'm 195lbs. with a 35" waist and the large is actually a bit large. So glad I did not go to the XL size. Probably just preference on how baggy you like clothes? Great shorts.

Yes, they run small, but are a good fit and rear zippered pocket is a plus. Pockets small and not necessary. Worth the sales price, but not for $30!

Thanks for mentioning that they run small. I'm 175 with 35" waist and normally wear Large, but the XL fits perfectly. Looks like a nice product, but my rating is just a guess since I just got them.

I just received Medium size and they were small, so I ordered 2 more pair of Large. 5'9" 145 medium build. I thought a 35-37 would be too big, so I ordered the medium. There is no way the 32-34's are really that size. Definately go up a size here.

My favorite shorts by far. They're not too baggy like many of the other shorts, but they aren't too short like many tend to be nowadays. Incredibly comfortable, lining is perfect! The zipper on the back is an excellent touch. Now all I need is my retail store (Paramus) to get them in my size (M)!!

I purchased 1 pair of the pro-distance shorts and they are relegated to just casual wear. Their predecessor was a great short, basic and very functional. The new shorts are cut shorter and have a tendency to rise up in your crotch while running. They are a nice short, but why fix something when it isn't broke. Bring back the earlier shorts and lower the price. I have 10 pairs of the old style that date back 4 years ago. Still wear like iron.

Very comfortable and they wash well. There is also enough room to feel comfortable but not too much to feel constricted. I have ran over 600 miles with the shorts and even PRed in my last marathon ... need to say more!

Great Shorts. Like the fit a lot. The pockets are perfect. I have not used the IPOD pocket in the back. Also has a pocket in the liner for an ID card, etc...

Shorts work fine although I have not yet washed them to find out about shrinkage as per another reviewer. Negative aspect is the back pocket in the middle which if you have anything in it you feel it moving with every stride. Why not put back pocket on one side - usually right side?

Great product for those who like a loose fit. I own RRS baggy shorts from a couple of years back, these havs some noticeable improvements; the side pockets and aipper closed small pocket in the rear add a lot. My only minor complaint is positioning of the rear pocket. It would be better on either side, rather than directly in the middle.
Liked these so much I bought a few more pair and threw out my old ones!

Agree, these shorts are priced decently. However, as E1st pointed out, the waistband is tighter than any other short I've ever worn before and it does affect the comfort, no doubt. The old design was great, no need to discontinue them.

I have big legs and it's hard to find comfortable shorts. I use these shorts for running and tennis. Loose fit, yet comfortable. You can't go wrong with these shorts.

The material and liner feel decent, but after just one or two washes, the waist band has constricted substantially. I haven't had a pair of shorts behave that way in years.

This is my first product review. I have worn shorts from many name brands to include: Asics, New Balance, New Balance, In-Sport, etc. plus other store brands. these are the most comfortable yet. I have always favored shorts with pockets and this length. Great shorts for the money.

Very similar in feel to the Spirit Baggy, the discontinued model that is justifiably five stars. This short is slightly more substantial but has the same comfortable inner support brief. The zipper pocket in the middle of the back is great if you use an iPod, but its location is annoying for stashing keys or cash.
