If you normally wear an XL, with this jacket get the XXL. The top zipper pull is metal i think and works fine. the bottom zipper pull WAS plastic, and broke off the first time i washed the jacket.
More importantly though, this jacket is GREAT!! I ran outdoors all last winter, and this jacket really...

I really like this jacket. It is super light weight, but very warm and windproof. I have worn this during 17 degree F runs with a technical t-shirt and long sleeve top underneath.
