Just picked up a pair when they were on sale and took them out for 12 miles in 90-degree heat & serious humidity. They were awesome. No chafing, no problems, plus they are long enough to not feel self-conscious when at stoplights! Seems like a great design.

I bought these specifically for long runs (over 10 miles)to address a chaffing issue I've recently developed. The shorts performed better than expected. The length prevented chaffing and the light fabric kept me cool and did not bunch or bind up. I particularly like the pockets to keep GU gels in them. I ran 14 in them this morning and they felt great. I'll probably by a few more to replace my current shorts. Well done RRS!

Although they are long, they don't restrict movement. Very lightweight and comfortable. Appreciate the pockets which makes them versatile for running, gym, tennis. Have had 2 pair for over 3 years and still in good shape. Just ordered 2 more

I bought these shorts knowing there was the built in brief, and not knowing how I felt about that. Now that I've worn them a few times and have run my first 10k in them, I don't have any qualms about the inner brief.
I was hoping there would be a good spot to hold my iPhone as I ran, but the interior pouches are too small for that, and I'd be wary to just drop it in an outside pocket as they don't have zippers.
All in all though, a great short. They look great (so says my wife) and they're very comfortable.

This is a truly great gym/run short. De to the length it is probably better suited to shorter runs. The fabric is lightweight which is nice, but if you are looking for a basketball short mesh feel, this is not it. But, a great product at a great price.

These shorts are very comfortable and true to size. Great lenght if you like a longer short - not binding, dries quick and look great.

I have always worn Nike 9" and have made the switch - better price for equal quality!

By far, the best shorts I have purchased from RRS. Perfect fit - extremely comfortable. Inner liner is not binding and the material is lightweight and dries fast. Love these shorts!!!

I love these shorts--great length, so light-weight I barely notice them, a liner that doesn't chafe or ride up uncomfortably, useful pockets . . .
I only wear them to run, but they would be great in the gym as well, and comfortable enough to wear just sitting on the couch.
I just wish there were more colors.

I have a hard time finding shorts with the inner brief and Road Runner Sports comes through again. I have bought my husband 2 pair of these and you can't beat the quality and price. They look as good as the higher end products but at a much more affordable price.

Never wore shorts with a liner. Didn't think I would like them. However, after wearing these shorts I liked them so much that I bought several more pair. A really excellent piece of workout gear.

I use these short for running. The brief liner is very comfortable, although with runs of 13 miles or longer I sometimes experience some chafing. The drawstring could be about 4 inches longer; it's just barely long enough to tie in a bow (the waist fits great otherwise so I know I'm not wearing too small of a size). Other than that, my only complaint is that I wish they had more reflectivity. They are light, have fairly low-key/generic styling (which I happen to like), and are the perfect fit for me. I basically don't notice them at all when I run, which is the ideal.

It's the only shorts I run in now. No chafing problems. I like the pockets. The fabric is a tiny bit too thin, but otherwise, a good buy.

Great shorts, very breathable and light, i actually cut out the liner and just wear my normal compression shorts underneath. Perfect length for any workout out in the gym (who wants to lift weights with short shorts on). I definitely recommend buying these
