great jacket, didn't get 5 stars because "under 100 bucks" gets my fifth star. Other wise great, I recommend it (I just don't grade inflate), but wanted to let buyers now that it is big. I'm 5' 11" and 160# and a small is still roomy. If your in between sizes get the smaller size

This jacket is really light weight,quiet and has a slimming fit. I have 2 other Gore-tex jackets but this is the one I use all the time in cold weather.

Great jacket. Keeps me warm and dry. Very light weight and packable. Love all the bells and whistles- my favorite thing is all the reflectivity.

This is great jacket. I did not size up because I prefer something more fitted instead of boxy and it looks great. It definitely stands up to the freezing Boston weather.

My wife bought this for me as a gift. I probably wouldn't have bought such an expensive jacket myself but I'm glad she did! It's my first Gore jacket and this thing is Awesome! Keeps me totally dry and warm. I'll definitely buy other Road Runner products.

This is a great jacket for when its really cold outside. It definitely blocks the wind and keeps me dry in the rain. Great quality so I won't need to replace it anytime soon.

Awesome jacket for when you have to withstand tough weather. I like that the hood is detachable although I rarely take it off. Never had a media pocket but I guess I'll have to go buy one of those ipod things now.

After reading the negative reviews of this jacket I was VERY hesitant to purchase but I'm glad I did. I actually checked out the Gore-Tex website and found this jacket is something they call "Paclite" which unfortunately isn't in the Product Info above. This jacket is great because its lightweight and packable. Without going to the Gore-Tex website I wouldn't have found this info but glad I did because this jacket is exactly what I was looking.

I just talked to a customer service rep and was told to "just do long sleeve layer underneith". Well, during hot, rainy seasons, I don't do long sleeve layering. Reading many of the reviews is proof enough for me not to by this outfit (matching jacket and pants) again. I have the old one from about 10 years ago (glow bars on the knees and arms)with full lining and zippered arm pits. Perhaps I should send it back to RRS to help them remember a great product.

Still no lining in the arms of this jacket. This is supposedly due to particular type of GoreTex used - it has little bumps on it that supposedly raise it away from your skin. FAIL. They also eliminated lots of detailing from the old jacket. I was really hoping RRS would bring back the old jacket design, but no such luck. RRS's reputation for quality, well designed products took a real hit with this one. What were they thinking?

I have gortex with liner wouldnt by one with out it. This jacket has a large amount of bad reviews. RR needs to find a new manufacturer for its gortex (find one in the USA).

I have purchased a Gore outfit for many years. I teach Physical Education and find them very useful and durable. The recent jacket and pants seemed a bit larger than the previous ones. If you are ordering a set you might keep that in mind.

Disappointing. My previous RRS jacket was fully lined. Lack of this lining is a serious comfort shortcoming. Also, there is not enough velcro on the cuffs to close them. For a few $$ in material you made an excellent product mediocre. What ever happened to runner testing???

I have a RRS Gore-Tex jacket I bought about sex years ago, and this one is not as nice. The old one was fully lined, including the arms. This one only has a lining panel around the shoulders and upper back, so if you're not wearing a long sleeve shirt, you feel the cold, rubbery inner surface of the Gore_Tex on your skin.
The old jacket had zippered openings under the armpits that you could leave open to add more ventilation or close to make the jacket retain more heat. This feature is missing in the new model.
And mine arrive with a defective hood. The snaps on the flap that covers the throat were female on both sides, so there was no way to close the flap.
I sent it back, and am fervently hoping that the bring back the old design in time for next year.
Eliminating the lining and the armpit vents probably saved $5 a jacket in production costs, on a $150 jacket. What were they thinking? I've been buying all of my running gear at RRS since 1985, and this is the first t

Just got mine in the mail. My husband is gonna love it, as he been wanting a new Gore-Tex Jacket. Super light weight and lots of reflectivity. I know he will be safe running at night!

I got this jacket for my husband. It is the perfect piece for fall/winter running. It keeps him dry and warm in the cold weather. Some Goretex jackets are only lined at front and back to keep it light weight when running.
