These tights really keep the wind/cold out. The side reflectivity is also a nice touch. I normally don't like tights that have ankle zips but I didn't even notice them on these.

These are unbeatable for the value. I love the zipper leg opening so I can get it over my size 13 feet. The only con is that these are a little high-waisted for me. I usually flip the waistband down to lower it a bit. As these are warmer I am using them for winter running so I have other gear that covers the waistband anyway. True to size.

I purchased these to wear as running tights, and also to wear along with bike shorts for winter biking. The wind-resistant fronts are perfect for both, while the more breathable backs regulate the temperature well. I would give these the highest possible rating if it weren't for the strange shape. When I pull them up high enough to allow a full range of movement and to prevent inner thigh chafing, the waistband end up around my mid chest. I have a much larger abdomen than most runners, as I am around 215 lbs, but these are still far too long from crotch to waist for me. I simply can't get comfortable in them. They function perfectly, but are uncomfortable to wear.

Tights work great! Front panel is wind proof and water resistant but that is just to top of knee. Tights breathe great and as a runner once you get going you create a lot of heat. I have used them several times and think they were a good investment. So far the durability seems to be there too. I see several others have had quality issues and tights have come apart but not me. I do wish the draw string was longer inside and had bigger knots as the first time I put them on the string pulled back inside and I had to fish it back out. I was laughing the whole time because it was a bit of a pain but since then no issues. Could have been user error!

Tried these on in the RRS retail store, and like other reviewers I am astounded by the high waist. I have a short torso so this is ALWAYS a problem for me with any tights, but in this model the effect was ridiculous. I would definitely have purchased them if not for this one issue. They are excellent otherwise. As mentioned by others, the craftsmanship is terrific, as well as the features and (otherwise) the fit.

These tights are great for cold and especially really windy runs. The front panels do a great job of blocking the wind. I also noted really high quality, solid construction.

My only issue with these tights is that they are cut with a very high waist. They hit me about 1.5 inches higher than all other tights and running shorts. So, I end up folding the top down.

Wore them on a run this morning as the only layer at 12 degrees, not everyone would say it was enough but I am happy.
