Just received these pants last week and they are great for cold weather. I've never ordered any of the Gore from RRS before but I'd definitely buy the jacket.

These pants are a great pant for what I use them for; running in the winter rain, sleet and snow in SE Alaska! Contrary to what Richard stated, mine do have elastic in the waistband and I'd rather they didn't have a lining with added weight, as I wear thermal bottoms under them. If it's warm enough to not need the thermals, then I don't need to use the storm pant either. I have the top also and they both work very well for me. Good job RoadRunner

Don't bother. No liner, no elastic in the waistband and no fly. You'd have to wear another layer under them or they're going to feel really wet and clammy. I'm returning them.
The RRS Gore-Tex pants I bought 5 years ago had all of the features this one is missing. What a disappointment.

This is a great cold weather pant. I got this pant for my husband and he likes that it's not lined so he can easily pull it over his running tights. He told me without a lining it's very lightweight when running. Also great fit and design. I just ordered the women's Jacket and Pants for myself.

Needed a new winter running pant and loving this one. Lightweight and warm. Lots of reflective details for night running.
