The pants do get heavy if they get wet. The pants also do not dry out very quickly. If you run in the rain, especially cold rain, don't expect warmth or comfort to stay true.

I highly recommend these running pants and found them to be comfortable and warm even at (-2 degrees) on Feb. 10th running on one of the main roads in Grand Marais, Michigan (UP)

The comfort level is so good that many times you don't hear them or even feel them. They aren't the clingy tights type of pants but they do fall well to your shoes.
