I too am disappointed in the Cush Runner III. The older version was much more cushioned offering more padding and impact absorption, which is my primary need!! Bought a pair of the new version, used for 5/6 runs, and then replaced them with the shoe's (Aisic) original insole. May try the Sorbothane UltraSole...Gotta be something out there.

I am very disappointed in this "upgrade" from the old Cush insoles. The previous ones (which I bought about two years ago) were made by a different company - they had the RRS logo on them. Anyway, the old ones were thicker and MUCH more cushiony. And that's after two years of use! This model is thin and almost flimsy, with not much cushion (since they're so thin). These are a huge disappointment and I will keep using my old ones and return these. RRS - PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD ONES!!

Got these soles for my La Sportiva Pike's Peak trail shoes, which despite my high hopes for them as a high rated motion-control trail runner, felt very uncomfortable and had no cushioning or arch support. These insoles are much more comfortable and I think will make the shoes work after all. I have low, flexible arches that are pretty much flat when bearing weight.

I LOVE THESE INSOLES. THEY HAVE SAVED MY FEET AND JOINTS THE PAIN OF ROAD RUNNING AND HAVE EXTENDED THE LIFE OF MY RUNING SHOES. BRAVO!

I love this product. These insoles have helped my work shoes (patagonia-ballet. feel like slippers and thus are helping my heel spurs get better. When my running shoes start to loses cushion, i will look to these for stretching out the life of my running shoes. Perfect insoles. Thank you.

I find that any/all shoes I get seem to wear out after about the first 100 miles. I put the cush runner in after about 125mi, and have used it for another 100mi and it's been fantastic.

These are the best insoles I have used for distance running. I have tried dozens. Great cushioning, light weight and fairly low profile.
