Perhaps I'm the only one who uses these in soccer cleats where they work GREAT! I needed an insert with both arch support AND cusion (because soccer cleats don't have any built in cusion) and this is the best thing out there! For running shoes I use Superfeet green. Got it right! I generally really liked the Stable Runner II, but had issues with the plastic heel cracking, squeakiness, and there sometimes seemed to be a mild fit issue with some shoes (?). Have none of the above problems with the current III version myself.

This product makes an awful noise(squeak) when walking or running. The hard plastic piece makes the noise. Not worth the money!
