I don't know if I had the current model or the last one. These hurt my arch so bad that I threw them away.

I have tried lots and lots of insoles. This brand is one of the best. Excellent metatarsal support which helps prevent the dreaded plantars f. By the way this insole is an improved version from last year. Finally, another great source of insoles is New Balance.

Perfect for me. I can finally run without putting in metatarsal pads. These are better for my feet than the $300 inserts my doctor prescribed. I have tried 4 other insoles and these address multiple issues. First they comfort at the heel. Second, they support my arch (mine is between normal and low). Last, they support my metatarsals and reduce the mortons neuroma symptoms that I have dealt with for 3 years. No more plantar fascitis pain either. THANKS!

Pretty solid overall. As mentioned in other reviews, it feels a little gooshy, compared to previous RRS stability insoles. But it performed very well in an 18 miler and the gooshiness was not distracting at all. Would like that feeling in the forefoot as well.

I tried both Superfeet Blue and custom insoles to deal with chronic foot pain from an old injury. While they both helped ease the pain, I blistered badly running with each because of fit problems. These RRS insoles did the trick--pain went away immediately and has not come back. I actually like the cushioning in these and find that they last through about 2 pair of shoes. Great deal for the price. I have not noticed any squeaking.

Perhaps I'm the only one who uses these in soccer cleats where they work GREAT! I needed an insert with both arch support AND cusion (because soccer cleats don't have any built in cusion) and this is the best thing out there! For running shoes I use Superfeet green. The running shoes have plenty of cusion so the hardness of Superfeet is fine, but for cleats, especially when playing soccer or ultimate on hard ground, these are the best.

Got it right! I generally really liked the Stable Runner II, but had issues with the plastic heel cracking, squeakiness, and there sometimes seemed to be a mild fit issue with some shoes (?). Have none of the above problems with the current III version myself.
