Softsoles are the premier cushion insoles. These don't even come close.

I like the extra padding in the ball of my foot, and under the arch - and the price is good.

I'm happy with these. I had Sofsoles and they were too thin, not as much cushion. These work better for me.

LOTS of cushion. Bought these for a pair of older shoes to get some more life out of them. It worked.

I would avoid these for use in running shoes. For everyday standing/walking shoes, they are okay, but no where near being worth the money. The design and fit is just poor.

I purchased these insoles at the same time I bought the Saucony Omni 8's. I took them home put in the insoles, walked out the door and ran 8 miles with no problem whatsoever. I have no idea what people are talking about as far as the arches being too high. I by no means have high arches and the insoles are absolute heaven. I've been looking for an insole that provides a bit more softness to the ride of the shoe but does not prohibit the shoe from it's natural ride. I've had two back surgeries and these are perfect. I will use these for all of my running shoes.

I agree with the others who had arch problems. I have logged 30 miles so far on the new version insole and they arch is much more noticeable.

Got these at the SD store on my vacation, and buying them again - arch is fine, I like the softer insoles. I have one foot longer than the other so sized for that foot without a problem like the Steve had.

I liked the heel cup and anti-odor lining. However, the arch is way too long for me as it tended to rub on my joint at the big toe. It took me some time to figure out why only one foot was hurting at that point (right foot). The edge of the arch was pressing into that area.

Didn't like them. Too much arch for a cushion insole.

Liked em, arch was fine for me and has alot of cushion. My fit person had me try them in place of my Brooks insole and they really do make a difference.

these have more cushion than the old ones, I like them better. The arch runner insoles had a much higher arch than these.

Mon, October 05,2009:
When they say the "designed for a neutral runner with high arches" they mean it. If you don't have high arches don't buy these insoles. There is way too much insole in the arch area - especially with a normal width shoe. The other brand of cushion insoles RRS sold was so much better and more versatile for runners with different arches - which is what a cushioned insole should be.
