These are recommended for average to low arches but it seems like they are more for average to high arches. I have low arches and the arch support was too much and felt painful. The arch support needs to be more on the side of the arch and less under midfoot.

These insoles are great. They might even be more important than the shoes I put them in. I'm a flat footed overpronator. Rather than go with a bulky motion control shoe I go with a stability shoe (Saucony Hurricane)and this support insole.

These things are extremely durable. I left them in my shoes for a year, probably close to a thousand miles, and they are still fully in tact and useable. I'm not sure their effectiveness has even diminished but I replaced them when I got new shoes. I could see them possibly tearing if you roughly remove them and insert them into different shoes all of the time but if you are careful they should be fine and if you leave them in the shoe they will probably outlast the shoe they are in.

At first they felt a little funny...not uncomfortable,just strange. I got used to them quickly and absolutely must have them in my running shoes now. I've flirted with shoes other than the Hurricane's and I've found that many others were completely useless without these insoles. In short, they made a bad shoe better for my feet and make the Hurricane's...a good shoe already that much better.

I'm 60 years old over weight have diabetes numerous other health problems and needed to change my life style immediately. I had Plantar Fasciitis, flat feet and over pronation. I almost said forget it I was so tired of buying and getting lousy results. However, I went ahead and a few days later I received them. I couldn't believe that from the very first day these solved my pain. I walk 7 1/2 miles a day on a treadmill. In the last week I have been able for the first time in over a year to increase my incline and speed. I increased my work out by 50%. Enough said - get these insoles and it will be the happiest day of your foot and leg pains life.

I use these in my everyday shoes and in my sports shoes. They slide in and out of my loffers for work and support my med-high arch. I do think they help my over pronation. The arch support material has not broken down.

These provided great cushioning, they were breathable and comfortable, and not too hot (I run in the desert so that that should give you a baseline to compare them.) Well worth the price.

Placed these in my shoes as a replacement for other inserts. So far, two weeks worth of running and cardio training, I am not having the issued I usually have. They take a little bit to get use to, but well worth it to me.

I use this product in all my shoes. They are easy to switch from dress shoes to casual shoes. I may get more for each pair of shoes. The support feels natural after you have them in for awhile.

I have used almost every kind of orthotic available, from custom-made to different off-the-shelf orthotics. So far, these seem superior...for my kind of high arched foot. The only question mark for me will be durability...I've only had them for a week, and only used them for one round of golf, one run, and a lot of wearing around the house. But they WORK...which is the important thing. The area where the hard arch material meets the softer sockliner material seems vulnerable to splitting if you are aggressively putting them into, and taking them out of, shoes. Once I realized this could be an issue, I was more careful when inserting them. I am purchasing extra pairs for my other shoes, so insertion and removal should no longer be a factor. I would hesitate to suggest to RRS that they change the material, as this cushioning feels just right. Overall, I like them.

I have tried many insoles before and spent much money even on full orthotics but have never been completely satisfied. I knew what I needed but was never able to find the right product. Some have been too heavy, some don't fit well in the shoe, and I have even tried some with arches that don't match up with mine. These are perfect, supportive yet comfortable with the right amount of durable cushion.

This insole provides great stability while still allowing a natural running motion. It's also especially good for lightweight runners. Most similar products are much thicker, and, because I'm lightweight, I sink into them and get no rebound. This insole is just the right thickness--plenty of support and cushioning, while still very responsive. My one small gripe is that the cushioning where the plastic meets the foam can degrade a little too soon requiring replacement. But this product otherwise is so great that I'll pay to replace it at that frequency.

I recently suffered a tibia stress fracture that may have been related to my very unsupportive turf shoes that I wore for refereeing a soccer tournament. Now recovered, I purchased new turf shoes that were big enough to fit an insole and purchased these to help support my pronation. After 3 games in my shoes with my RRS Stability Insoles my legs DID NOT HURT AT ALL and my feet felt like they were walking on little clouds. I'm thinking about switching to a neutral running shoe and using the insoles!!

I run 25-35 miles a week. I pronate and have been having trouble with my knees. When you put them in your shoe, you can feel the support. I have an average arch and these are comfortable. My girlfriend used the Superfeet and has had a lot of pain in schin and feet. You also have to gradually wear Superfeet, increasing time you wear them each day but with the RRS insoles you just put them in and go.

I purchased these insoles because my running shoes did not provide enough stability and support during my runs. The insoles have held up well during long runs, and are comfortable and easy to use. I have also use these insoles on my work shoes with good results. These insoles work well at supporting my low arches and large frame. These are a great update to the insoles that I was previously using. While I liked them, these seem to have a lot more spring built into them. Being rather flat footed, they also don't have an intrusive arch the causes me discomfort. I just bought my third pair.

I bought a pair of these because it was time to replace the insoles I had been wearing. I was a little apprehensive when I found out that they no longer made the previous stability insoles I had. I bought one pair of these and when I tried them out I could instantly tell a huge difference. They have a lot more rebound with each stride than the previous insoles. I really was amazed at the difference they made. I am a 55 year old, average size man and I live and run at about 7300 Ft altitude. Little things like this make a huge difference. I have already bought a second pair and am considering buying several more.

I broke these in on shorter 4 mile treadmill runs and just ran 7.5 miles on the pavement yesterday and they were awesome! I purchased blue superfeet and returned them because I needed more cushioning. These provided the stability and the cushioning I needed. I'm 5'10", 155lbs, flat footed, and have mild over-pronation. I've had IT band injuries years ago and am very careful when it comes to picking the right shoes/insoles. I have these in my 3rd pair of Saucony Hurricane 7s and I could not be happier.

Bought these as my first pair of insoles and I love them! I was skeptical if they would make much of a difference but after a long run my feet feel great. Much cheaper than any name brand ones too.

The arch fits my foot, and the cushion is better than other brands for a supportive insole. I tried Dr. Scholls, Sofsole, spenco but these work better.

I needed these inserts to fix a bad fitting shoe that Road Runner sold me. I was told to pad up the shoe and wear extra socks. Little did I know that the shoe actually came in a narrow size which I found by accident in the clearance section. These inserts do pad up a poorly fitting shoe.

I didn't get the above insoles. Very frustrated with the clerk in the store. I have had these insoles in the past and loved them. Went to store to get new pair. I got such a run around from the store clerk that she was "very busy" and that she needed to "heat up" the machine. She never came back to me. I finally left after waiting for her and the machine after 25 minutes.

The first pair of insoles I bought had a graphite arch and unparalleled impact absorption, that was in 2000. I was attending Special Forces selection and constantly had 90+ lbs on my back walking for miles on end and running the same. I had them in my boots and running shoes. I spent the next 15 years in SF and never had another insole but these. After 24+ years in the military, I have absolutely no knee, hip, or back problems! Even though I'm retired now, I still enjoy jogging and competing in Spartan races. Never trusted another insole. Thanks Road Runner Sports.
