I have been using RRS stability plus insoles for three years now and never had any problem, loved them! Then they changed to this model with the hard plastic piece underneath and I've had nothing but problems. They make my feet hurt on the outside and my knees hurt on the inside. There is practically no cushion at all and I need all the cushion I can get when I run with enough stability to keep my feet from rolling. I can't say if they are better or worse than superfeet for running, I've only tried superfeet for hiking. But for running, if you need cushion plus stability, go elsewhere.

I got these and the support ones - these are more like a softer Superfeet which were too hard to me. The support one has a higher arch and fits my shoes differently but both do the job well.

Great insole that helped with plantar facaiitis. These inside Brooks Adrenaline 10's helped reduce/eliminate my foot pain!

When I first got the support plus insoles my knees were aching. Just after my first run with the insoles there was absoulutely no discomfort at all. Has incredible pronation control as well. Gives great support. I wouldn't run without them.

I had used the previous 2 editions of RRS support insoles, which I preferred much more. The current edition has a plastic/carbon piece that is irritating to my instep--doesn't feel right for this flat-footed runner. Cushioning is OK, though not near as much as the Support III.

I bought this pair of insert for a new pair of running sneakers that did not come with any useful insert and I thought I needed more support. The RRS plus insert does help a lot and I have used it for daily use, short runs and long runs. In my other running shoes I use Superfeet. Compared to my Superfeet, the RRS Plus is heavier by about 30% and firmer. They both do the job well but RRS plus is a bit warmer but it may actually provide better support and at nearly half the price it is a good alternative to the Superfeet.

Been an avid user of Powerstep for years and decided to give these a try. I was impressed enough to switch and use them in my work boots. Normally I would ware holes in the powerstep within 8 to 10 weeks where maximum pressure was exerted on my right foot. These are much more resilient and I tend to get at least 16 to 18 weeks good usage in an industrial setting as well as with my running shoes

These are great insoles - practically saved me from buying new pair of running shoes.

However bear in mind you may very well need to adjust them to the shape and size of your shoes.
I, for example, had to cut the edges of the insole in order to eliminate a small 'wave' that formed under my arch, as the insoles were larger then the shoes. I did that a few times till I got an insole that fits the shoes perfectly.
Unfortunately, that process ended after I run a half-marathon..

I bought these to use with my new Brooks Adrenaline 10s. They have just the right combo of cushion and stability support. More comfortable than similar but more expensive brands.

I was recommended this by an employee of RRS, and I was skeptical at first. I'm a low-arched, neutral filly and didn't think I needed this much support. He said that this would complement my foot as it was. They sat in the corner for a while, but I got to the point where my shins were bothering me so much I decided to use the insoles. I ran with no pain and they make my neutral shoes even better.

This is a stiffer insole. More like superfeet than the previous soft insoles from road runner (which did not provide enough support for me). These support the foot well and are very comfortable. The heel pocket is fairly deep also. I usually buy a bigger size and cut them down so the arch is in the right place. The E size seemed a little wide, especially for the narrow shoes I usually wear. I am using these in a wider shoe than normal, so it is not a problem, but could cause fit issues in narrow shoes.

I have been dealing with calf and heel issues during my runs for six months. I inserted these insoles and on my first run I did not have any discomfort. Felt great......Great insole!!

My insoles are in NB 856 4E's. I can transfer them form shoe to shoe.

After two bouts of plantar fasciaitis, I really need the support that these inserts give me. And they are a little cheaper than the other "name brand" insert with no lost of function.

After running for 30 years fairly problem free, I began to have problems with my left foot. I had a set of orthotics made which worked well but thought I might try these sports insoles. I actually tried them for the first time today and I was surprised and very happy, my foot did not bother me while I was running or after I was through.
