These are great socks. They wash well, and are very comfortable.
I wear an 11.5, and the XL (sz 11-13) is actually a little too big. I have to be careful not to let them bunch when I put them on.
Other than that, I've used them in all kinds of weather, and my feet love them.

I take my shoes off in the house & these socks are not good for that. They feel wet & your feet get cold even in a warm house. You will need larger shoes to workout in these, if you run all the time these might be ok.

I use this for everyday running as well as cross training. These are the best socks I've tried. They are just right in terms of cushion. I don't like thin socks, but thick cushion socks feel too heavy, especially when wet with sweat. These wicks away moisture nicely. And they wash well and hold up well over time.
Definitely recommend.

I use the shoes for all outdoor walking other than serious hiking for which I use actual hiking boots.

They're very comfortable; I really like the gel for reducing impact.

The looks are typical of most "tennis" shoes, slightly garish and undoubtedly aimed at people younger than my nearly 75 years.

Driest socks I have ever owned. I usually cheat on socks, as long as they are not cotton. But I tried these with some new Nike Volmeros and like them very much. Thick in the right areas provide padding. No sweat and no smell.

I've worn them under knee hi's. Feet stayed warm and dry. I've worn them in boots - all day - and feet stayed warm and dry. Love them!

I wanted a sock that didn't make my feet too hot-- though to be fair, even the ones I like the most fail a little at this-- and this sock had to keep them dry. It's a tall order, I know.

The Dry Max Dry-as-a-Bone socks do live up to their name, because even when my feet get a little warm, they never feel moist at all. But as to the warmth, so far they have not made my feet feel too warm.

I'd like to add that I'm really picky about socks and my feet are very sensitive; these socks feel GOOD on my feet and that in itself is a blessing. YMMV

Socks are just as important as shoes to avoid foot problems for distance running. These socks defitniely pass the test in this regard.

These are my go to socks for every day wear. They are cushioned just right and never slip or wear thin until literally years after purchase. I've had some of them since 2004 at least! I've of course worn some out but I wear them every day and they go through the washer and dryer too. Definitely would recommend and hope they don't discontinue or change them!

Have never worn black sox other than in a dressy mode. Think these look fine and fit my new life philosophy of trying new things at least once. Have been a Wright Sox wearer for years but consider the RRS Max equally good. Will consider buying more in the future.
