I run on the road and this vest does the job of making me more visible to motorists. I wear it during the day because I do not take any chances with my safety and I assume everyone is driving distracted. It is light weight and the mesh is good for cooling. My only complaint is with the sizing. They should have it in three sizes, S M L and a longer length. because the small/medium is really a size small and it is way too short and the medium/large is longer (but still not long enough) and too loose and shifting around annoyingly when I am wearing just a tshirt underneath it. Wish I could give it more stars.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        First...mine actually has two side zip pockets and not one in the front.

        It's very bright and I love that it's a zipper and not Velcro. Rides up a lot less than my other Velcro vest. Never run in the dark without it!
