      this bottle leaks badly

      This bottle feels good in the hand, has a nice molded shape that helps avoid dropping it while running, stays flexible in below freezing weather & does not impart taste to the contents.

      However, the spout began to leak after about a month of use & the leak has gotten steadily worse. It is now impossible to fully close the spout & thus it can't be left in any position but vertical. It is nearly impossible to drink out of it without getting my shirt wet.

      Everything else about this bottle is excellent & rates 5 stars but the leaking problem is totally unacceptable & for that reason alone I recommend against buying this bottle. I would give it zero stars if that was an option.

        This bottle works just fine for its intention...it's made for running, hand held and belt bottle holders - if you need to toss it in a pack, get a thermos - seriously.

        I use his water bottle at school. And it's great because of its convenient size. It's also just a very nice water bottle. However when the bottle falls on its side in my back pack, it leaks and gets my books damp. This happens with 4 different bottles that I have from Road Runner. If it weren't for this one malfunction, these water bottles would be my top choice.
