Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Peregrine 2 Trail Running Shoe: I run trails and needed a good tread and a light shoe, that will also protect my ankles from rolling. I really like the shoe and have only ever run in Saucony's (about 20 years) however, I can't get the lace situation right - they feel loose, but a little short in the toe... thus the reason I say I'm on the fence. That said - they are light and comfortable on the foot and feel very stable. The tread is awesome on the dirt/roots/rocks, too.

Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Peregrine 2 Trail Running Shoe: I've been an avid road runner for about 2 years and completed a few half marathons and will add a full soon, but I recently decided to sign up for an extreme trail challenge (SEAL extreme) and these shoes were a lifesaver! They are very light, comfortable, and have great traction on ANY type of terrain. Trust me, I tested them on hills that were so steep that you need to place your hands on the ground in front of you to get up them, on a 65-degree incline hill with loose dry dirt that was around .75 mile long, in water, in mud, on wooden obtacles, on extreme down hill runs, wet bridges, you name it......and they held up great and offered great stability to the ground and were very comfortable. I use Brooks Glycerin 10 and Asics Nimbus 12 for road running, so these have a similar fit to my feet. These choes are lighter though and are equally comfortable on the road. I also purchased my husband the mens version and the same comments apply to those. He prefers them over any shoe he has for running now regardless of where he is headed.
