Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Kinvara TR Trail Running Shoe: Maybe the best trail shoe I've ever had (40 years). 100% off-road runner/walker. Great fit, light, comfortable, good outer sole; rock-stop plate is a serious bonus. Almost always wear a 10 running shoe. 10 works here too.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Kinvara TR Trail Running Shoe: Train about 100 miles per week, switched from brooks cascadia to saucony kinvara TR in september of last year.It takes a little while to transition as this is as close to a truly minimal shoe you can get while still providing enough protection for long distance running.Definitely buy a half size larger than normal as it is a slim fit.Traction is amazing on all surfaces and the thin sole lets you feel what is under foot and re-act quickly. Can't wait to start racing in this shoe!

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Kinvara TR Trail Running Shoe: I was really excited to try the Kinvara TR. I'm on my 4th pair of Kinvara's (1's and 2's, have not tried the 3's yet). The TR has different tread, which is good for all the dry and rocky terrain I run on. The shoe is much narrower than the road Kinvara's. The heal sole area is narrow. The rock plate is not very effective, better than nothing but not by much. The tongue has an odd shape at the top and tends to come out of the shoe. I will probably go back to the Peregrine even with the added weight or possibly try the True Grit.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Kinvara TR Trail Running Shoe: Always been a fan of the Kinvaras, but was a little dissappointed when I put on my TRs. I always buy a 12.5, but a 12.5 in the TRs was a little snug and narrow. The shoes stretched out some after a few runs, but if I order these again I will go with 13s. Order 1/2 size up in these.
