Years ago I got fitted into a pair of Stability Saucony ProGrid shoes and wore those shoes until they were worn out on the inside. The outside remained looking nearly new (well, I am sort of picky and take care of my shoes very well). However when I went back to the running store they indicated that my foot was neutral and I didn't need a stability shoe so anymore and so encouraged me to get a neutral shoe. I did - but it wasn't Saucony. I got Brooks and Asics shoes and they all work very well. No real problems, fit great, available in wide - all the stuff I need. I did try on a neutral + shoe from Saucony but it wasn't comfortable.
After some time I went back to the running store to get another pair of Asics and they had this Ride 6 available. I hadn't used Saucony for some years - but thought hey I remember I loved those old shoes so I tried them on. HEAVEN. Utter delight. Love. They were one of the most comfortable pairs of running shoes I ever tried on and I just knew they would work well. As it turns out I should always pay attention to my own inner feeling on shoes because it does not steer me wrong. My wants and desires do (cute shoes, popular shoes, flashy shoes!!) steer me wrong and need to be ignored to some degree.
I don't think this is the cutest shoe. Certainly it looks like a shoe from some years ago but that's o.k. It fits wonderfully. I wear a 6.5C/D usually in running shoes but often go to a 7B as well. This I got in the 7B and the width and toe box fits great. No problems with anything hanging over or trying to get through the mesh. The heel is the only area that is not absolutely perfect but it works well. I just notice the heel about mile 4 and that feeling of knowing the heel is there and feeling it persists until the end of the longer run. It doesn't hurt but it does make me conscious of how my feet are striking. Something that I try to pay attention to anyway but is enhanced in feeling in this shoe.
I find the cushioning perfect. It's not too much and not too little. It feels solid underfeet the whole way. The laces are easy to use and I like that they are sorta grippy and stay in place easily. Overall they fit my feet perfectly and work wonderfully for long or short runs!
Returned Buyer Again and Again
I have been wearing Saucony Rides for around 7-8 years now. Obviously these shoes were made for me if I have stayed with them this long. Believe me when I say that I have tried other shoes throughout the years. I would want to get something different or I would think that there is even a better shoe for me out there; but I would waste time and money thinking this and end up going back to the Saucony Ride. I have always been in fairly good shape and I now have recently picked up running in half marathons. Through my rollercoaster of workouts to my long distance running, these shoes have not failed me.
They have a great spacious toe box, very breathable, and provide enough support around the top of my feet. I have paired these up with the R-Gear Drymax Dry-As-A-Bone Thin No Shows and the insoles that Shoe Dog at Road Runner perfectly fit to my high arch feet! This combination is a dream! I ran 8 miles without feeling a thing! I feel I can run forever - well at least 13.1 miles. :)
I actually just bought two pair on the same shoes, just in different colors, so that I can switch between the two since I run so much. These are great shoes and will always have a pair (or two) as long as they keep making them.
Love them! My New Favorites.
I call myself a jogger, not a runner, since I normally average 11 or 12 minute miles. I jog 5 miles 2-3 times a week. I definitely need cushioning since I'm not skinny, and these foot the bill. They are so comfy I swear they make me jog faster. There is the perfect amount of padding under the heels AND balls of my feet (this is where I think some other shoes lack). My last pair of Saucony (different style) lasted nearly a year, so I'm hoping these will be as durable. I bought the Ride6's almost a week ago and have put 16 miles on them. So far, so good-- no issues. The first time I wore them was for a triathlon sprint; they were good to go without having to break them in. Between my last pair of Saucony and these the toe-to-heel elevation dropped from 12mm to 8mm, but I must admit I can't tell; I thought it would be noticeable, but it isn't.

Love my Saucony Ride 6
The Saucony Ride 6 reminds me if a blend of the breathability/lightweight of Saucony with the cushioning and endurance of an Asics. I can walk at 5 miles per hour and exercise in these shoes all day long. They have a great wide toe bed and are perfect for orthotics. Great level of cushioning without over- pitching me which is something that can happen when you wear orthotics. This is a very breathable shoe but not as breathable as the Saucony Cortana 2. I Highly recommend this shoe if you exercise a lot. I typically walk fast (slow run) 20 miles a week in these and exercise at the gym do aerobics and Jazzercise so in total am in these shoes about 10 hours per week. I highly recommend this shoe.
Nancy addicted to exercise
For about three months, I've been having trouble finding a new shoe. I think I've finally found it. I love that Saucony offers multiple shoes in a wide option (and that their wide is actually wide). Having worn a few of the stability shoes previously (I recently discovered that I'm now a neutral runner), I knew that Saucony made quality shoes, so I tried the Ride 6. It's breathable, light (for being a traditional shoe), accommodates my inserts with plenty of room left over, and most of all, comfortable. I'd prefer a blue shoe in a wide width (and then these would be perfect), but I really have no complaints. Can't speak to durability since I've only had these for about 6 weeks. But since I'll be training for a marathon in these, I will soon find out how they respond.
Not for cardio classes
After I did my feet analysis, staff brought me a pair of this shoes to try. It felt super comfortable with enough room for my toes to move around. I LOVED it. I was sure that this was the shoes for my wide low arch feet.
Then I tried it on in a Body Combat class (shadow boxing class) which consists of a lot of lateral movements. During the class, side of my feet started hurting because this shoes did not have any lateral support.
It may be a great running shoes but not for cardio classes that have lateral movements.
I loved the Saucony Ride 5s, and find these to be very similar, maybe a little tighter around the ankles - but I actually like that! I did order a half size larger than my regular shoes, as I usually do with a running shoe. My feet are somewhat narrow, and these fit perfectly. They provide cushioning for long runs without being heavy or clunky feeling. Did 9 miles in them right out of the box with no issues (and that is a very long run for me) And I also love the bright neon yellow color - I'd buy every color of these if I could!
I love these shoes! I had Nike Pegasus 28 but since they changed to the 29, they weren't the same. I loved my Pegasus because they were cushioned just right for me and were just all around great shoes and created no problems for my legs or feet. I gave these a try and I am very happy I did! They feel more comfortable than the Pegasus and are very breathable. And the bright colors are great for the girly girl :)
Colorful and comfortable!
I went to the store to buy a different kind of running shoe. I am a walker and my last two shoes were Ride 4 and 6, but I felt like they weren't quite my shoe. I tried on every other shoe near the same price bracket and thought I'd found a new shoe, but tried the Ride 6 again. So much more comfortable for me! Without spending a lot more money, this is the best shoe for me. I took a friend and she now has the same shoe!
2nd time around for Saucony Ride
This is my 2nd pair of Ride saucony's and the 5 was wider and bigger than the 6. I am a 10 wide and the 5's were great but the 6's seem smaller and more narrow. I'm thinking of exchanging them for a half size bigger to see if it helps... My darn bunion doesn't like the 6!!! Perhaps if that wasn't an issure they would be fine. I'd recommend these though to those with wide feet.
Looking at my second pair
Got my Ride 6 in Aug 2013 and now I am looking at purchasing another pair of running shoes. I have been very happy with them and now I am considering another pair. I did have to take out the cushion pad and replace it with a better one for more support though. I run only 2-3 times a week at 3-4 miles each, so you see I don't run much. I usually wear size 8.5 for Addidas shoes, but 9 feels just right for Ride 6. It gives my wide toe box area plenty of room.

Don't hold up to my mileage
I'm back training for a half marathon so increased my mileage to 15-20 miles a week. I had no problems with the Triumph 9. After an update analysis, I was recommended these and assured they would live up to my mileage. Unfortunately, my knees and low back feel like I take a beating just after 7 miles. I am great for a 10k but more than that, I need more cushion.

Never change these!
I run 25-30 miles a week and have been running for 35-40 years. These have the best forefoot cushioning that Saucony has offered in their running shoes for years! Had worn Saucony for decades but had to switch last year to a different brand due to Saucony not adding enough cushion in the forefoot in their nuetral shoes. (I have a high arch).Decided to try the Ride 6 and so glad I did! I'm back to wearing Saucony!
Better than Brooks
Wore Brooks Glycerin for years but the last few models the style changed and it didn't fit as comfortably, especially in the toe box. Tried saucony at the advice of the sales person at Roadrunner and love them! Wide toe box yet snug heel, cushoning, comfortable even after long training runs. No complaints!
My mom got these after rupturing her Achilles tendon. She has always liked Saucony shoes, and can be described as a walker with recent time spent in the gym (3-4 days/week). Thus far this shoe has provided great stability and support, as she recovers from her Achilles injury. She's also psyched about all the comments she's received.
Comfort on the 1st run
This is my second pair of Ride Saucony's. The Ride 5 was slightly wider cut. I have a wide foot and preferred that to the Ride 6. However, the Ride 6 is comfortable. I have run in them several times and they are comfortable. They look like they will last longer than the Ride 5's which wore out quickly
Just a little better than Ride 5
These shoes are for my 20+ miles per week. I do not use them for any of my other activities or sports. They are GREAT if you wear orthotics. They have a deep foot bed and wider toe box. They do NOT rub my heel spurs.Just a little better than Ride 5. Maybe they will last longer than 300 miles.

Love these shoes
I love these shoes. I had never run in saucony before but thought I'd give these a try. I now own three pair and alternate them daily. I run anywhere from 3-5 miles in these shoes 6 days a week and they just feel so comfortable. I run mostly on road and concrete and these shoes keep my feet from hurting.
Love these shoes!!!
I Love these shoes! Love the bright colors! They are very comfortable, but I wear a 7.5 and have other pairs of Saucony shoes in size 7.5 and are perfect and I till have a little bit of room for my feet to move around...I bought these in a 7.5 and have to return them for a half size bigger :(
LOVE THESE SHOES!!!!!
Very comfortable and great with jeans. This is the first time I have order from this company to Australia. Great service and deliver was fast! Will continue to buy shoes from this website.
These shoes are great!
Order 1 full size up!
The shoes came in and I was so excited! With Saucony, I generally order 1/2 size larger and they fit like a glove, but with THESE, my toe was right at the end of the shoe...If I'd ordered a full-size larger I think they would've been great. Dang it!
Great Saucony Running Shoe
I wear them for running only. I wear nothing other than Saucony for running. They are consistent in every aspect of a great running shoe and I have been wearing Saucony for 30 years. The bright colors are fun!
I would recommend this product.
Had to switch shoes as my old ones retired. I'm very happy with the switch as these are lightweight and a great color that I can wear with many outfits casually. Although the laces are nice I'd put in stronger, thicker ones
Just moved back to Saucony after years with Mizuno. Softer and more flexible than the Mizuno but very good support. I have not run long distances yet however which is why I moved to Mizuno. Very happy so far.
CL in Phoenix
I ordered the shoes in Wide because i have bunions on my feet and these are perfect. RSS had them available in half size which is great. Also, i wear a large size, but these don't look large on my feet.
NOT THE SAME SAUCONYS THESE DAYS
Loved the Ride 5. It fit nicely, and was a soft ride. The Ride 6 is narrow in the toe box and smaller than the 5 was. It's like walking on a board it's so hard. Sent them back.

I have been using Sacony for many years (since 1988). I love Sacony; this particular shoe is comfortable, cushiony, great support, and light weight.
comfortable shoe for walking
I just had tarsal tunnel surgery so not running yet but I wear these shoes with my orthotics. I do the elliptical and have had no issues!
So far so good
Havent worn these to many times yet, but I had the saucony 5 ride and loved it! This seemed like a great upgrade!
I run 6-8 miles almost daily and have two pairs of these shoes which I rotate. Love them!
