Comments about Womens Saucony Kinvara TR2 Trail Running Shoe: Saucony definitely hit the mark with these shoes! I wore a size 6.5 in Kinvara (road) 1 and 2 with a thin sock and a snug fit, for marathon racing. So I ordered these in a 7 for with my thicker trail socks. They fit perfectly. Width is pretty typical for a Saucony. I really like how I can tighten the mid-foot without the laces cutting into the tendon on the front of my ankle. The shoes are thin and lightweight. The plate in the mid-sole offers some protection, but you don't completely lose ground-feel. (If you like a highly cushioned shoe, these are not for you). They also still offer good flexibility. I have used them for one 1-hour run on dry, quad-track and rugged dirt road. Traction was good, can feel some rocks under foot, but not painfully. Can't comment yet on durability or how they fare on long runs.

Comments about Womens Saucony Kinvara TR2 Trail Running Shoe: After looking at the last review, I bought these for the 2014 NorCal Tough Mudder. I absolutely loved them. I bought them a half size smaller than my everyday athletic shoes. I'm sort of between sizes 7.5 and 8. I bought these in a 7.5 so they would stay snug in the heavy mud. They worked great. Never had any issues with comfort as heavily loaded as they got with mud. Traction was good on the obstacles and difficult terrain. I tired to save them after the course but I don't think they will survive with all that mud and sediment. Definitely will replace them with another pair for the next race.
