Men's SAUCONY® TYPE A6 :: If you liked the light feel and super speedy ride of the Men's Saucony® Grid Type A5, then you're gonna love its newest update, the Saucony® Type A6. You'll get more speedy responsiveness and quicker turnover, compliments to the newly added iBR+ forefoot rubber in the outsole. And you can feel light as a feather in this update that now weighs even less, thanks to the improved FlexFilm placement, helping to maintain support, while reducing weight in the upper. Count on that same connected-to-the-road feel you enjoyed with the Type A5, and keep on stayin' cool for miles with the same highly breathable mesh.

Comments about Mens Saucony Type A6 Racing Shoe:
Bought the shoes for faster track workouts expecting the shoes to be light. The shoes are light but not as light as advertised at 5.2 oz. They weighed in at 6.1 oz. Ran a fast workout on the track and the shoes work well. Did repeat 200s comfortably. The shoes tend to hug the foot a bit tightly at the metatarsal area, but the shoes are for speed, and not long runs. The shoes appear to be long, but the shoes being narrow, appear to be long I guess. I warmed up and cooled down 2-1/2 miles before/after the track work and the shoes are reasonably comfortable on pavement/sidewalk. I am a mid-foot striker. The shoes fit the same size as my Kinvaras and Mirages..........the A6 will only be used on track workout days.
