Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

I have had trouble in the past with knee pain during my run. Since using these I can run pain free. They are light weight and don't slow me down. Definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive run.

In Love.

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

These were my first real pair of running shoes (I had previously run in Nike sneakers and I was a hardcore soccer player turned runner). After wearing these shoes for the first time I nearly teared up. My 5k time improved by a minute and a half. I am a 3 mile a day minimum runner just for fun. Sometimes I "train" for races (I ran 2 half marathons and multiple 5k's). With these shoes I won my first half marathon (1st place woman ages 18-24). I am grateful to Saucony and I look forward to the Triumph ISO 2... my shoes are now ripping unfortunately. They had a great run.

Aslo- shoutout to Donna from New Brunswick store. You rock.

Disappointment for a Loyal Triumph Fan

By Daisy

from Ohio

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

I have worn Saucony Triumphs for many years. This would have been my 9th or 10th pair of Triumphs, and I was trying to replace my Triumph 11's. While these shoes still have the great cushiony ride I have always loved in Triumphs, the new ISO design features have caused blisters on both feet, which are wide. (I ran in the shoes twice.) The feature to "customize" the fit is like a rigid vinyl sandal over the fabric of the shoe. On both feet, where the shoe bends when I push off, I got blisters on the tops of each big toe where the edge of vinyl "sandal" rubbed my toes. A plastic "lip" also been added where the shoe fabric meets the sole. (Other Triumphs have not had this.) I got blisters on the sides of both big toe joints where my foot rubbed the raised edge. Thank goodness for Road Runner's 90-day return policy. If Saucony switches to all ISO designs, I will have to switch brands completely.

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

The sneaker has just enough cushioning without being too heavy and inflexible. The isofit allows the foot to have the freedom to move together with the shoe, as opposed to the foot being extremely locked down in one position. The cushioning feels perfect- not too soft, but also not too firm. On the first run, I was able to run over 6 miles without any glaring problems. It is best for someone who is a neutral runner who needs cushioning for lots of miles.

    Perfect

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

Started running 5 years ago at age 52. Got Scott running shoes, very lightweight. Searched the internet for years to keep buying them, finally gave up this year and went to RoadRunner and said, I need a new brand. Tried a few out, but when I put these on, it was heaven. Then I took them for a real run and was easily running a mile an hour faster. I have to slow myself down to make the mileage I want without burning out. Maybe any of the new shoes would have worked. Don't care. These are perfect.

    Overall - Great shoes!

    By Bonny

    from Seattle WA

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

My only complaint is that the material separates where my heel is and I tend to get a hole. Then it is uncomfortable to walk or run. So I use bandage tape to put over that area and it helps with the material separating.

I run under 25 miles a week and also use these in the gym. These Saucs are by far the best shoe I've ever had. They're cushioned in all the right places; stable (especially for people like me who've had knee surgeries). They come in wider widths (which I wish manufacturers would make more of) and they look great! I'm stocking up on several pairs

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

These were my favorite shoes at first. They're lightweight, gave sufficient cushion & support to my high arches, and the design of the tongue & laces is great so that it all stays in place and doesn't shift mid-run. I gave them a whirl for several 3-mile treadmill and sidewalk runs and they felt great. Then I took them out for a 5-mile trail run and by mile 3.5 I was working on a nasty blister on the outside of the ball of my foot where there's a seam that is surprisingly prominent on the inside of the shoe. Thinking it might have been a worn-down pair of SmartWool socks to blame, I tried a different pair of socks & gave them another chance in a 4-mile sidewalk run this weekend, but the same seam gave me a new blister on that foot. This is the first time I've used the 90-day wear 'em & return 'em guarantee (thank you RRS!!). I loved these shoes otherwise, so I still gave them a 3 even though I had to return them.

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

Saucony, you changed the point at which the tongue is attached to the shoe. You moved it back toward the ankle. I have a wedge-shaped foot with a high arch. The new attachment point makes it uncomfortable to put the shoes on and I find myself crunching the top of the back of the shoe. It also causes me to scrunch up my socks. I wish you'd left the tongue alone, and I hope you'll fix it in future models. But -- this won't stop me from buying Saucony. They are the only shoes that fit me and let me run without the knee and back pain I used to get.

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

I purchased these shoes as a self motivating gift to get back into running after rotator injury. My concerns were fitting & comfort during runs. I am a Neutral runner with high arches and a narrow foot. I am 5'3 and my current weight is about 151 lbs. These sneakers are marked neutral plus which is exactly what I needed. The fitting seemed to be little loose when I wore them with lighter footies.. it seemed that the 1/2 size was slightly too big for my foot. I started to think I could have pulled off the size 8. However, after I inserted my running insoles and wore my compression footies they fit to perfection.
As for my run I've got three letters to share- WOW! The best running shoes I have had in a while! Let me say that I run, jump hurdles, sprint & walk during my session. My run was extremely comfortable I had the cloud effect going on but please keep in mind that I also have runners insoles. I felt that I was expelling less energy then I am use to during my runs. The shoes were supportive and and felt to me that they provided to right amount of cushion and bounce back for a solid landing and take off while supporting my knee joints and hips as I didn't experience any sensitivity in those areas as I have been with my Free's. They just made the runway, feel softer! Also during my sprints I felt that the shoes were pushing me forward, I ran my usual distance in a shorter amount of time and it didn't feel as intense as usual. My jumps had excellent spring back and shock support to my joints and it was very, very comfortable! These shoes made my run SUPER Fun! I loved it! I can't wait to hit the road tomorrow. These were just what I needed to get back into my groove.

        supinators, underpronators, rejoice!

        By Luanne

        from Birmingham, AL

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

I am a supinator (underpronator), inbetween an average and high arch, and these trainers make my feet happy. I've had a very frustrating foray in my search for a good fitting running shoe this season. I've tried a "few"... In comparison to the Glycerin 12s: the Saucony's do not have as much cushioning, and they aren't as pretty with all the Brooks' ombre colors, they do have more stability which I like. The Glycerin 12s looked so cool and felt like running on a cloud, but with my somewhat closer to average arch they made my supination worse at times and the outer part of my foot would hurt and I ended up with shin splints. I so desperately wanted to love the Glycerin 12s but my feet said "hell no." Also, Brooks always had a nice wide toe box, which seems to have shruken this season. Then I tried the Asics Cumulus 16 -- which was just a terrible fit for me, Asics always seems to have a tiny toe box in comparison with their competitors. I even bought the wide, knowing their shoes always seem to have a narrow fit, but even the toe box was still so small. Let my toes breathe, I say! And I thought they were ugly, to boot. Then I tried the Brooks Ghost 7, again, very cool ombre colors, but slightly disappointed with their toe box shrinking this season, and something about the side support was digging into the outer part of my foot which made them unusable for me. I have been a dedicated Brooks girl, with my favorite pair being Ghost Defyance 4, from many seasons ago, an award winner from Runner's World. After spending a lot of money on returning all these trainers, and feeling desperate, frustrated and alone, Even though I've never tried Saucony's before, in desperation I decided to go with The Runner's World award winner since it worked for me before, and I'm glad I did. I finally, FINALLY!!!! found trainers that made my feet happy. This is my first pair of Saucony's and while not absolutely perfect (I'd like a touch more cushioning, and better colors-but I'm setting the bar pretty high here) they feel great when I'm running. Great for my foot type which is a supinator (underpronator) with an average to slightly high arch, who likes a wide toe box. And these kicks are very grippy on the road which I like. I can't beleive I finally found the right running shoe, and they are Saucony! I would have never thought to look at these Sauconys without the Runner's World award emblem. Thank you Roadrunner for putting up with all my returns, and your fantastic customer service. <3 <3 <3

Comments about Womens Saucony Triumph ISO Running Shoe:

These shoes are so cute, and felt pretty great as soon as I put them on, BUT, I could tell right away that they were lacking the arch support I felt in my Brooks Glycerin 12s. I only got around the track about three times before my arches were burning. I had to run out to my car and switch shoes. I would say that these may run about 1/2 size small. I bought a size 5 because even if shoes "run small," I still need the smallest size. They fit me a bit snugly (not too small) and I measure at about a 4.5 on most of those feet measuring things and I have a slightly wide foot. These were on the narrow side for me. They're deceiving. The toe box looks much wider than it is. My arches are medium to high. Hope that helps with sizing... They are nicely cushioned in the forefoot and heel, and they're exceptionally light considering how much higher I felt off the ground compared to my glycerins. I think they're great shoes, but they just won't work for me.

I am recovering from an ankle sprain and training for my second marathon and these shoes are everything that I ever wanted!! I used to LOVE the New Balance 1080's but the new model (V4) was not cutting it... Saucony did an amazing job with this shoe. I feel like I am walking on air when I run in these and I am pain free. I will be buying a second pair!! (I usually wear a 7D but I might have to get a 7.5D - They feel tight for my super wide feet)
