The Grid Hurricane 7 works for me. Nice wide toe box and a narrow heel that doesn't slip with my orthotics in. I hope I can keep getting these.

Fri, February 15,2008:
Been running in Saucony for 20 years. Worst pair I've ever owned. Have a major blister on right foot due to the heel slipping. Doesn't matter what socks or lacing I use my heel still slips.

Fri, January 04,2008:
I have been running with these for about three months. It seems to cause me much tightness in my calves and hamstring while running. Even with stretching, I get the tightness. Pace is generally an 8 minute mile, but has been going up slowly. Shoe overall is well built, going thru some torture tests ...

I use my pair primarily on a treadmill and they absorb the impact way better than my Nike Air Conquers. No blisters no complaints...great shoe!

This is an after the first run review - This shoe is great. I had a pair of Brooks GTS 6 (I think), and although very good overall, they were a bit flimsy, and broke down quickly. These Hurricane 7s are much more firm right out of the box. The rear foot is very firm and stable, while the forefoot...

Wow..This is the shoe I've been looking for. Good cushioning and stability for a 210lber who runs about 40 mile weeks.

I'm 5'10", 175 lb and run around 40 miles per week. I've been running in Brooks Trances, but decided to try the Hurricanes based off recommendations. In the 7s, I've developed severe blisters on the bottom of my arch at less than 150 miles. Therefore, I'm going back to Brooks.

Sun, January 14,2007:
Tried a pair recently and found that the forefront cushioning was lacking. The Saucony insole was paper thin, so it might work with a good replacement insole.

I have tried dozens of shoes and the GH7 is the best. I recently ran a marathon without a single blister or even a rub. The arch support and pronation control are fantastic for such a soft and responsive shoe. After two broken kneecaps I can now run pain-free. I am now stockpiling this shoe.

I'm 175lbs with wide feet. I compete in olympic distance triathlons (10k run). I'm now ordering my second pair of these shoes. They are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had and they fit great. I've probably over worked my current pair, running about 12 miles a week for the past 2+ ...
