Always been very happy with the Hurricanes. Can go out for a long run (13+ miles) in a brand new pair without issue. Only complaint is that they wear VERY quickly.

I'm a small runner - 5' 135lbs, but very overpronated & need a lot of stability. The arch is high, but no more knee pain when I run! I'm on my 4th pair - I run 6miles per week, teach aerobics & run mini marathons & the H7's still lasted 6months!

Add me to the list of big runners(6' 205-225lbs myself) who love this shoe. I have always been able to run in most any stability shoe without any problems, but I never had a pair feel as good as the H7. The H7 is my favorite long run and marathon shoe.

I had been devout to my Saucony's for years. Compared to previous versions, in which I have logged a thousand miles and 2 marathons with no injuries, this new version is worse. The lack of support in the heel makes this shoe feel like the old Jazz3000's I used to wear, when my feet would get numb and the outside of my shins would kill me. I wish they had not messed with a good product, i.e. the version 4 and 5. I have switched to the Mizuno Wave Nirvana2, which feels much like the 4/5 did on my feet. Back to no injuries with the Mizuno's!

I ran in the Saucony 3D Grid Hurricane 5 and liked them a lot. These are better. I'm 6'2" 210# and wear 2/3 rigid orthotics. These shoes will get me up to 20 miles/week. It's been a long time since I've been able to run that far without pain. Here is some info that is interesting. The Shoe Dog search did not find these for me. They say I need motion control and those shoes really didn't help. Sometimes the sales people are better. They're the ones who introduced me to the Hurricane 5s and sometimes a newer model is better than the old. I've never been able to write that before. Good luck, I hope this helps.

Didn't think I could give up my Asics. These shoes helped me recover from lateral knee pain, are light, yet durable.

The Hurricane 7 is the best shoe I have run in. I used to run in the Asics 20XX shoes. The Hurricane 7 provides the best fit and cushioning I have experienced. I have run 2 marathons and over 300 miles on these shoes and the cushioning and stablity are still outstanding. Male, 180 pounds, medium arches.

I have owned 2 pairs of Hurricane 7's, and am about to buy my thrid pair. I have been able to put 525+ miles on each pair. I have run 5 marathons in them, including the Tahoe Triple (3 marathons in 3 days). I've run in Brooks, Nike, Asics - you name it. This is definitely my favorite shoe. I just wish the price wasn't so high.

At 6' and 225 lbs., this a perfect shoe for me. I did 3 marathons in the H5 and a half marathon in the H7. There are good in rain or snow (that's life in NH...).

I started running and racing 5Ks just over two years ago. I was running in a Nike Max moto, but couldn't keep up with the model changes. I switched to the Hurricane 7 and will never go back. I compete as a Filly and the cushioning and stability are great.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes, and oh my gosh I cannot say enough good things about them. I'm a big runner--6'2", 230 lbs., and these shoes have just the right amount of stability for me. The cushioning is one of best I have ever found in a stability shoe. In a size 14, this shoe is much lighter than similar shoes such as the Asics Kayano XII.

I've never had a shoe like this!!! Best cushioned shoe i have ever run in. I used to run in the nb 991 but they dont compare to the durability and cushion of this shoe. Great job saucony...keep up the good work.

I've been a kayano runner for years. I was encouraged to test out this saucony. 2 words... LOVE IT. The cushioning is better, more supportive and I feel that its lighter. The saucony fit is perfect in the toe box, gives me that extra room for my big feet. Will now be a hurricane runner for years.

Tue, November 29,2005:
I've always used Hurricanes (5 or 6) for shorter runs, depending on the NB 1220 for the long runs. With the Hurricane 7 I've switched; it's now my longer run shoe against the NB 1221 for shorter runs. The H6 worked but always felt a bit clunky. The H7 is just nicer all around. Definitely a shoe I'll be buying more of.

Mon, November 28,2005:
Great cushioning but be careful if you have flat feet. The arches in the shoes are too high and too hard, and overpronators may bruise their feet to the point of injury on these shoes, as I did. My least favorite pair of Sauconys ever.

Best Saucony ive ever worn. Wore the Kayano and then tried the Hurricane on a recommendation from a friend. I am now a hurricane person for life. Best cushion ive ever felt in a shoe and great support. Saucony seems to be heading in the right direction.

A great shoe! I'm 5'11", 200 lbs, and this shoe has eliminated the hot spots and knee pain I experienced in my prior running shoes.

I think Saucony must have figured the sole material out. I'm on my 3rd pair of Hurricane 7s, and will now stay with them. I was concerned about premature wear on my first pair, but fell in love with the comfort. I've run in Kayanos for years until the Hurricane 7. At 30 - 40 miles per week, my 3rd pair is wearing great. Thank you, Saucony.

I only wear Hurricanes. I don't like the 7s as much as the others. I just bought two pairs of 5s.

Mon, September 19,2005:
I think that it is a very good shoe, but like ohters I am vry concerned about how fast the sole wears. I have gone back to the H5 till the problem is fixed.

Good fit but didn't hold up on runs over 10 miles. 6'2" 210 lbs and slight pronator. For the price, and short runs, the Adrenaline is just as good.

Good fit but didn't hold up on runs over 10 miles. Wouldn't wear them for a marathon. For the price, and on short runs, I'll stick with the Adrenaline. 6'2" 210 lbs and slight pronator.

These shoes were really great from the word go, however, after having run an 8 mile training run the ball of my foot started to get sore. I am a little concerned since many of the reviews cited excessive wear in the forefoot area. Time will tell.
