I just purchased these shoes and LOVE them. I have been a Saucony wearer since 1980 ...starting with the Jazz model and Saucony is always improving their technology. I wanted to get a backup pair but my size is not available on the net. I was skeptical about buying a size up but I did and they ar...

After reading all the great reviews, I was completely disappointed. Narrow toe box and much shorter in length; you need to buy these babies a full size larger. Went back to Grid Omni 5's and couldn't be happier.

I was trying to replace my Hurricane 7's so I bought a pair of Hurricane 9's and was very disappointed. So I tried these and couldn't be happier. Great cushioning and support even for aerobics. A+ Shoe.

Asics lover...I was! Knees started to ache equally after my long runs. Told to try the Hurricanes and I am sorry I didn't listen sooner. Cushion is great and just remove the insole and look at the toe cushion compared to others. Wow! No more pain after a 22mile run! I did go up a half size big...

I have running in Hurricanes for years and they shorten them and could not wear Hurricane 8. My feet are in between sizes on the 8 where I never had this problem before. I had to stay with my Hurricane 7 and hope that the Hurricane 9 will fit. I have been ording 7 ......

I've been a loyal Saucony fan for 12 years of my running life--but I did not experience "shoe love" until the Hurricane 8. I'm a pretty mid-mileage runner (50-70 mpw)with an average build (5'7"/135lbs.) and mild pronation. I used to wear Hurricane 7s, Omnis, and before that Stabils. These are such a...

Really good shoes great I bought them with a knee injury and couldn't feel any pain running they just wore out too fast. I ran abt 3-10 miles a week they wore out after 4 months.

Sun, November 26,2006:
Saucony has always been my shoe - tried all the other brands but because of the deeper and wider toe box and a good solid feel (versus squishy) I always came back to Saucony. Hard to give a rating on this model - compared to my old Hurricanes. Thanks to RRS I have continued to run, up to this fall,...

My knee has been bothering me for months, but when I started running in these shoes, the pain disappeared. The cushioning in these shoes is great.

Best Saucony I've ever had...hands down. I used to run with the Kayano and liked it, but the support isnt even close. The new Hurricane 8 has so much more support than the Kayano XII's and its the best cushion that I've had in a shoe. Plus I love the colors. Saucony is my new favorite!!!!

I've bought every Hurrcaine that Saucony has made. The Hurrcaine 8 is by far the best. the fit is excellent and I have a high arch and it fits my arch perfect. I can even run now with one pair of socks because of the great cushion that it provides. I ran one morning in the wet grass and it was n...

This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my feet. Very good stability and compared to my adistar controls, has so much more wiggle room in the toe box. By far this is the best fitting shoe I have ever had on my foot and I plan on running NYC marathon in them this year.

Tue, July 04,2006:
Better forefoot cushioning than the 7 and rearfoot feels more secure with the loss of the 3D grid; but the toebox is too shallow for my inserts.

The perfect running shoe. I have had my 8's for 2 months - am blown away by the fit and ride ever time I run. I have run in Hurricanes for 5 years - I never thought I would have a shoe this cushioned - and like it.After 30 years of running - I have the perfect shoe.

After reading all the great comments - I was slightly unimpressed with these - they were a little heavy and had a little too much cushion for my personal taste. These are great if that is what you are looking for, but not for me..

First I was a bit dissapointed, I got knee problems running with them on a treadmill. Since then I use them on the street (and the Kayano on the treadmill) - the Hurricane 8 have excellent cushion - ideal for runners like me with 200 lb and orthopedic inserts.
