Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil MC 5 Running Shoe:

I am on my fourth and fifth pairs of MC 5s -- they are the best running shoes I have ever worn. Too bad they have been discontinued, because the 6s that replaced them are unwearable, and when my current 5s wear out, I will have to change brands.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil MC 5 Running Shoe:

I am fairly new to long distance running (175lbs) - these shoes are very comfortable and I finish a long run with little / no foot pain.
I am on my second pair and can only comment that the right innersole on both pairs has folded during longer runs and that I only get 350 miles / pair (am I expecting too much?)
Having said that I am ordering my third pair

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil MC 5 Running Shoe:

I felt like I was running barefoot. They wear awkwardly when walking, but are flawless in full stride. I ran 12 miles the second time I wore them; for a fred flinstone flat-footer at 195 lbs., they felt like another pair of socks instead of shoes.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil MC 5 Running Shoe:

'HEAVY AND CLUNKY BUT GOOD SUPPORT'
Strengths:
The shoes provide good support for a flat footed moderate over pronator.
Weaknesses:
They feel heavy and clunky and the heal to toe transition is not as smooth as the Asics GT 2100/2110 or the Nike AST 10+.
Overall:
Not very happy. The only plus point is that they provide good support for a moderate overpronator. Would not buy Saucony again. They are not in the same league as Asics or Nike!
