When you take them off you feel the extra weight being released from your legs. The only reason I got them is because something has happened to the Saucony material and shoe make-up. WOW! After buying this brand since the 80's. The newer designs wear down so quickly and the material can't take normal wear and tear. I got so frustrated with the new choices that I traveled to a retail store for assistance. It was suggested I try this shoe since it was a trail shoe the material should be stronger. Well it is- but it is heavy and clunky. Overall try it on and walk around before purchase. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I have been running in Saucony's for 15+ years. What happened to the design of this shoe??? A very tight toe box, blisters, what's next? Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: After giving this newer model of the Stabil a lower rating because I felt it was much narrower, I ran out of other shoe options for motion control and tried the Wide width of this shoe. It fit perfect. It is now my favorite show again. If anyone else finds this shoe to narrow in the B width, I would suggest trying the wide width. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I used several of the previous Grid Stabils and really loved them for my flat feet. They were always comfy from the first time I put them on my feet. That is not true of this model. The B width was much narrower than in previous models and I keep getting blisters on the tops of my toes and even had a toenail turn black-n-blue and fall off from wearing them for long runs. I will try some of the other brands instead. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I can usually run in a pair of new shoes without really needing to break them in... yet I've run over 30 miles in these shoes and they have yet to feel broken in. I bought a size up and cannot feel comfortable in them. I love Saucony's but these are the first pair I've bought that hurt my flat feet. It's too bad that I can't return them or else I would. I need to try a different shoe now. Very disappointing. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: i usually can step right into a saucony and run without much break in time. these slip in the heel badly and although are good for motion control and support, i felt significant strain in my knees and shins. i've not had that trouble with other saucony shoes for overpronators. will probably try an asic shoe Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I've been running for many years and wear only Saucony shoes, I love the wide toe box and narrower heel. These shoes are the worst fitting Saucony's I've ever worn. Tight in the toe box, blisters, hot spots. Glad I'm not alone in this opinion. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I love these shoes! I've run marathons in other brands of motion-control shoes, and these are BY FAR the most comfortable and not nearly as heavy as others. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: Purchased these shoes at an RRS booth at the Disneyland Half Marathon 09/2007 and I love them! Comfortable from the moment I put them on and I've been training in them ever since. Will definitely buy them again. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: After 15 years of running in Saucony sneakers, this shoe made me try another brand. My heel slips around and feels as though I am striking down on cement. The arch is too high and the shoe never feels broken in. I sent back the last pair. The good news is that the Brooks Addiction 7 is a GREAT sneaker! Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: Have run in Stabil's for years, but this model stinks! I NEVER get blisters and now I have terrible ones on the balls of both feet. Going to have to try a new shoe :-( Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: Good cushioning, but can't get past the blisters they cause under my big toe. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I love this shoe!!! It is the only shoe I don't get shin splints when wearing. I also tend to roll my ankles less with this shoe. I have been getting this style shoe for the last 6+ years and whenever I try a new shoe I always come back to this one. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: Still trying to get used to this shoe,I have shin splints and ankle pain. Also I have horrible pain in the ball of my left foot even a couple hours after a run. Very disappointed. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I also have used previous models of the Grid Stabil and loved them right out of the box, but this model feels like too much of an arch for my very flat feet...and when my feet hurt, I'm a tad cranky! I'll be returning these and trying to find something else. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I have been running in Stabils for a few years and loved them... but I hate this shoe! My feet still hurt in the ball and the arch even after trying to break them in for months! Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I have used the prior models and loved them. This shoe, in a wide feels tighter than most Saucony B width. There is much less room in the toe box than prior models and it overall feels tight in the width. Not as comfortable as previous models. Loved the plum color. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I thought the Stabil MC5 was overall a better fitting shoe, mostly because it was a little wider through the toebox and across the instep. The Stabil 6 is distinctly narrower through the forefoot. I had to relace the shoes to open up some extra room across the instep. That did seem to work. I've had no problems with blisters, but that may be because I replaced the standard insoles with Sorbothane (as I always do for running shoes). But in perspective, they do their job on pronation control and they do fit well. P. S. I did check out the competition (Brooks Addiction) and found them a bit too wide in the heel. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: I've been wearing Grid Stabils since 2000. They were my Holy Grail of shoes. Not anymore. I strongly dislike the redesign of the MC 6. The toebox is shallower in height, it feels narrower across the forefoot...they've tinkered too much with a good thing in my opinion. Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe: Great motion control shoe without being clunky. Doesn't slip off my heels and has a nice wide toe box. Best of all my knees don't hurt!
