Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

I loved the old Grid Stabil 5. This one causes me pain. The toe box is too tight and the cushion is not nearly as good. Bring back the Grid 5!!

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

Awesome shoe! I don't know if the other reviewers have wider feet, but these bad boys fit my gun boats to a tee. I'm 6'2 & 210, size 13, with extremely flat feet (Built like a running back). I have had no issues with the quality or fit of these shoes. I run about 15 to 20 miles a week.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

I love everything about the "ride" of this shoe, except the toe box. It's too narrow, and I've been getting blisters on my toes. I've worn all 6 generations of this shoe, and this would rank as one of my favorites otherwise. I have a narrow foot, too, so it's definatly not that.
I'm heading out to the Saucony outlet nearby to get another pair of 5s - for anyone else looking for 5s, they still are carrying them at the outlets. And 4s in some sizes.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

Most excellent shoe for me, very good support, fits like a glove in all ways. My feet are not the most easy ones (low built feet with ankles almost touching ground ;-) but this shoe puts it all back in place as they should be..

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

I've had the last 3 generations of this shoe and find this one excellent. The MC5 wasn't very supportive for me and wore down in a ridiculously short period of time (150 miles). The MC6 is light, supportive and an excellent fit (for a woman wearing men's shoes). Will be buying again.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

i'm a heavy runner, no supi- or pronation problems, medium arch, but need stability. this is a pretty good shoe, held up well, broke down in the typical amount of time. but what happened to saucony's great wide toe-box of the old days? gone.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

Flawed design and shabby construction make this shoe one to avoid. The upper has stitching that is so poorly finished it punished me with large blisters on the inner arch after just a few miles into a run. This continued even after breaking in the shoe - something i think $90 shoes shouldnt require.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

I'm on my 5th pair of stabils. Personally I didn't like the 5's. I thought the toe box was too wide. Apparently some of the other reviewers have wider feet than I do. In general, I have really flat feet and had shin splints and blisters with all the other shoes I've tried. The problems all went away when I started using the stabils. The 5's were a little uncomfortable for me, but the 6's have been great. I've put about 350 miles on them so far and they still feel pretty good.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

I bought a pair of the 6s last fall to replace my aging 5s --- huge mistake. Like some other reviewers, I found the 6s to be too narrow and poorly sized in general. Luckily, I was able to find a couple of pairs of 5s in my size on clearance, but they will be worn out by this summer, and I'll have to figure out something else to wear. I will probably switch brands.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

I agree with other runners who said the Grid Stabil 6 models were inferior to the Grid Stabil 5 model. I will stick with the shoe however, because it is still superior to other shoes that I have purchased (being a severe pronator).

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

Because of this shoe, I was able to continue running. Shin splints were killing me even while having 2 pairs of the latest Brooks Beast in my closet. I had run in the Beast for about 8 years (ever since 9th grade in HS). At one point, Brooks made a Beast similar to this Stabil 6 and it was the best Beast ever.
Yea--it hurts at first as your joints and feet get used to the added constricting control. I bled. However, a week later the blisters were gone, and my shins are back to normal--without having to stretch for insane amounts of time each day.
I run mostly windsprints on steep inclines. I needed something that could take the pounding everyday. This is my first pair. I also added in the Superfeet insole to help the shoe last longer. I wear my shoes out really quickly.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Stabil 6 Running Shoe:

Bought the 6 to replace a pair of 5's. Great shoe! I have really flat feet, 6'0" 170. This is a great alternative to heavier motion control shoes (Brooks Beast/ NB 1122). This shoe provides as much control but is significantly lighter. Very happy with the Stabil series.

Great shoe. Very stable, yet light. Does not feel like you're running on planks. I alternate these with Beasts, NB1010's and Mizuno Renegades. These are by far my favorite and I run faster 10K's with these. Highly recommended!

i dont know how anyone says these have a small toe box...they must have very wide feet. i found they are the best fitting motion control shoe around. i had the beast, but it was too heavy and i tried the 1010 and they were too stiff. these stabils have the perfect blend of cushion and fit.
