Good shoe but not as much cushion in the heel as I like. Responsive and good fit. They are a great shoe for the price.

I have enjoyed good success with Saucony shoes; the Trigon 5 is no exception. I am a high arched fore foot striking former collegiate sprinter now trigeek. The Trigon's flexibility and cushioning of the mid to fore foot area is critical for me. These 5's don't seem quite as soft as the 3's but the...

HJB The 5's are more cushioned, but less stable than the 3&4 - you need to move to the Omni 6 mids for the same amount of stability.

I'm going to give them another shot but so far i've had some achilles pain that I haven't had before and the shoe is the only thing different. I really liked the Trigon 3 (guide), skipped the 4 and figured i'd like the 5 as well. What's different???

These shoes were recommended by a therapist and boy was he off the mark. They were boxy and sloppy. Anyone of slight build and a medium to high arch should steer clear of these shoes. I returned them after just 14 miles.

Seattle was right (how did he know?). I was referring to my trigon 4's. I just picked up the ProGrid Trigon 5's - feel just like my Brook Radius 5's did, with ample room in the toe box. I knew after the first 25 steps that I preferred these to my trigon 4's or to anything else I tried on in the r...

Didn't like the prior version, but the new cushioning does wonders for these. I'm training in the Trigon 5's (and the Omni 6's)for a fall Marathon. I prefer the Omni's fit & cushioning, but these are a close second.

Guiness seems as though he was reviewing the Trigon 4 not the Trigon 5 - which is a brilliant shoe... the Progrid makes all the difference in the world. His assessment of the Grid Trigon 4 is spot on, though.

170 lbs. I am about 200 miles into these. I much preferred the last 3 pairs of Brooks Radius 5's that I had. These were narrower than I like in the forefoot and seemed a little stiffer overall. HOWEVER, I just picked up the next year's model of this shoe at my local shop (don't see them yet on R...
