Sun, August 24,2008:
These shoes are springy and light and a good fit for my narrow heel and wide forefoot. Although they're classed as stability, the support is less than the omni or hurricane. These are NOT high mileage training shoes though! After the cushioning in my first ones wore out in under 300 mi, I'm now r...

These shoes are fantastic. I previously had the Trigon Guide shoes, but found them too stiff. The Trigons ruined my ankles. The Paramounts fit like a glove. The only problem with them is the insole, it is too slick and causes too much friction, which makes the shoe too hot and causes blisters. I got...

Thought this was going to be a great shoe and just the opposite. The technology that makes them springy makes them too bouncy and creates serious problems if one already has a quick turnover in your stride. Hard to run on trails with them, you keep turning your ankles. On pavement, they are very ...

Use to wear Nike running shoes. Just switched to Saucony Paramount and love it. Best shoe ever :)

love hurricanes. should have stayed with them. for the money, it's a cheap shoe. had to buy new inserts to keep from getting blisters on my arch.

Tue, March 25,2008:
I average about 25 miles a week and have found that only Saucony Hurricanes really worked for me. However, I made the switch a few months ago to the Paramount and I love the lightness and comfort of the shoe...however, it definitely does not provide as much stability as the Hurricane..in fact I had ...

This shoe is just okay for the price. Its good but not GREAT. The cushioning is gone after about 100 miles. I've always been an Asics runner. I prefer the Kayano way back when (number 9). I have major pronation problems..IT band surgery. I want a shoe like the Kayano 9.

Having been a fan of the hurricane since it was introduced, and having been disappointed everytime I strayed to a different shoe, I was skeptical. However, I have been converted; I LOVE this shoe! Everything it promises, it delivers. Fits great; feels great! A noticable improvement.

Awesome shoe! Price is a little much, but they are VERY lite and feel like you aren't wearing anything. Go out and get them for running or just being on your feet all day.

Disappointed in the shoe. Way over priced. Very "mushy" feel. Feet were sore after running in them Don't like the mesh. Don't feel the support. Would like to try the Grid omni 6 but after reading some reviews, concerned there is inconsistency in the shoe. Saucony shoes don't seem as consistent a...

I don't see any of the negatives I have read here.I average 55 mile weeks, and do long runs of up to 18 miles in these shoes.I don't even notice the shoes when I am wearing them. They are light and not overly cushioned that I don't need. While I do not feel every pebble in the road, they seem responsive...

I run about 20-25 miles a week and have been using this new shoe for about 2 months now. This shoe is wonderful. I rotate shoes every other day just to always run in a fresh pair and the two others I rotate with are a real disappointment after running in these Paramounts. I will have to buy a second...

I was really excited to get this shoe! I had been running in Asics and wanted to try something different. With my Asics I was doing about 4 miles/day 5-6x's a week. Within a week of owning this shoe my knees were killing me and I literally would wake up in the middle of the night with pain in my ...

DON'T BUY THEM!! I bought these based reviews after wearing Muzinos. These shoes have NO cushioning. My legs and knees were killing me after a short run so I thought they needed to be broken in so I continued to run in them for short runs and then ventured out for a 18 miler and boy did my knees hur...

I love this shoe, I have a knee problem and for my weight of 115 this shoe is great. It is light and has great cushioning and arch support. I recommend this shoe to any who runs high mileage and is in a small frame category.

I love this shoe! Extremely comfortable and great support. A bit expensive but so far they are worth the money. I have always worn Asics up until my third pregnancy and Asics seemed to have become too "hard" for me and I needed more cushion. These shoes are great.

This is a terrible shoe for such a high price.I bought a pair of Adistar Cushions for $40 at an expo that are a million times more comfy. This shoe is stiff, and excuse me,but where is this cushioning that is supposed to be so abundunt? Oh maybe in the cost haha. And the laces...more useless fluff.Give...

These shoes are extremely unflexible and have very little cushioning. I was expecting something like the Sauconys I used to buy 20+ years ago that were a joy to wear. Very disappointing. Sizing is also a problem. RRS suggests sizing up 1/2 size, but my toes were wedged against the shoe--you need ...

Fabulous! I had run in Trigon Guide for the past few years but was very disappointed with the latest model. So I decided to splurge on the Paramount. They have been well worth the money. I was a little concerned when I first tried them on as they didn't seem to provide much support for the upper ...

I'm recovering from plantar pain in my right foot and a stress fracture in my left foot. Desperate to get back to running, I've been trying a lot of top end shoes and decided to splurge on these. They are heaven! I normally don't care for the wide toe box of Sauconys, but these fit more snug with ...

I bought these shoes - the most expense shoes I've ever purchased - because I everyone had rated them as a 5. "How bad could they be?" I thought. I don't really like them. I found them to be stiff and hard on the bottom. All the technology about toe-off, etc doesn't seem to work. I did keep t...
