Excellent shoe. The upper does seem to regulate the temp. The shoe is light and feels great. I have been wearing the hurricane but I like this shoe much better. I will order another pair when they wear out. I just hope they don't change them too soon.

I have been an Asics wearer forever but the heel cup on the Gel Nimbus 9 is biigger than on previous models so I ad to switch. The Kinsei 2 wasn't out yet so I gave the Saucony a try. It felt great and I love the ride but the heel is wearing out at an incredible pace. The black portion is comple...

Like running on clouds. Excellent fit and superb cushioning. Breaths very well. However its is a bit pricy- Saucony should decrease it

I don't get the bad reviews for these shoes. Maybe they got a bad pair. There is no way they wear out as fast as they are saying unless they are dragging their heals. I have had mine for 4-5 months and usually put about 30-40 miles a week on them. I am a forefoot runner and these IMO are the bes...

After 4 runs heal wore thru to the gray sent them back thought they were a defective pair. Same thing happened on second pair. Darn shame because I loved the fit and ride.

Excellent fit and comfort. Light and fast. Looks like another high quality Saucony product.

Wow!! What a shoe! Great job, Saucony. The smooth transition throughout the gate cycle is wonderful. I've put about 100 miles in these already and love them!

I have been running in the Progrid Paramount since Aug. 28 after running in the Saucony Progrid Triumph 4 for five months. Great fit and smooth transition throughtout the gait cycle. Great job, Saucony!

Fri, September 21,2007:
Ran 35 miles in these and the rubber is already wearing out. I usually get 350 miles out of a pair. Not worth the expensive price and the shoe just feels like an ordinary $90 running shoe.

Ususally with all this technology a shoe like this is over-engineered but in this case Saucony have created a real gem of a shoe.I still love Asics but i am reaally loving this shoe as it has a midsole profile of a faster stability/cushion shoe .Nice job Saucony!!

I've always bounced around from brand to brand and shoe to shoe trying to find the right amount of comfort and stability and i thought i'd give this show a go..So far it's been great! Fits my foot really well..open upper, but not sloppy at all. Little pricey, but so is everything these days :)

First Saucony shoe ever. This shoe is phenomenal, but you must be a fairly efficient GAIT'er already! The shoe is very light but also very cushy at the same time. I am a pure bred Asics guy, but the Kayano 13 and Nimbus 9 have not been kind to me with the new solid SoLyte which seems stiff to me ...

Saw the other reviews before I put mine on and was very weary, but I love them. I had always worn a Hurricane and loved the 5, 7, and 9. Hated the 6 and the 8. This shoe has more cushion and is lighter as well. I thought the fit was right on par with the rest of the Saucony shoes I have.

Sun, September 09,2007:
I have 48 miles on mine and the lateral side of the heel where I land is already showing significant wear. The forefoot is not the traditional, roomy classic saucony forefoot fit. Even without any overlays and all the mesh, it is not a normal "d" width. It is narrower, than my new balance 902 "d" wid...

I've never run slower in my life! These shoes are all over the place. More like bacon grease than butter!

Mon, September 03,2007:
Snug heel fit(classic saucony), not too roomy toebox despite all the mesh- not as 'sloppy' as asics. Very good transition from midfoot to forefoot. No other way to describe it- the right amount of 'snugness'. Shoe has great flex for faster paced/hill workouts, as well as just enough cushioning/sta...
