I have been running seriously for the past 3 years and this is hands down the best shoe I have ever worn. I have tried practically every brand, and this is the only shoe that I have not had to "break in". in the past I have always had severe pain and numbness in my feet while running. I even tr...

I love Saucony, I hate the pro grid triumph five! I paid $120 for these shoes and had blisters and felt like I was running on broken toes the first time I wore these, and it didn't get better! I am not surprised this shoe is ENDANGERED- it should be OUTLAWED. Give me back my Saucony GRID FUSION!!!

Love the Saucony brand. This Shoe didn't have enough cushioning and my arch was killing my by the end of my runs. Only had the shoes for three weeks and ended up breaking my foot because of not enough support. I will try another saucony.

these are my first running shoes (white/gold), at first they were great but now i have about 160something miles into it, i'm starting to get alot of soreness around my ankle. It maybe the miles im running now, but definitely going to be switching to new shoes, after my race.

Previous 2 reviews say it all. First I bought the gold and loved it. Then I went to the light blue and found it mushy and not durable, and ugly to boot. Now I am wearing the red and they are in between. Don't understand it but the first gold pair was the absolute best.

Mon, August 25,2008:
I started with - and loved - the 4s. They provided lots of cushion and a toe box that did not make my feet go numb. My first pair of 5s in white/gold were also wonderful. Contrary to another reviewer's experience, I found these shoes to be extremely comfortable. They were light and still possessed e...

I love these shoes, the cushioning is great. I'm only giving them 3 stars though because they wear out so quick. I've logged 230mi on the 5's (only got about 325 out of the last two 4's I had befor the old knees started to ache) and I'm running on foam already. I'll be going to a different shoe that...

Ironically I have to agree with both the good and the bad reviews. I've had 4 pairs of these, did find the previous Triumphs (the 4s) to be more cushioned, didn't mind the decreased cushioning in the 5s because it comes with a lighter shoe. But the two pairs which I returned felt like rocks.Quality ...

LOVE THE 4's. I have been running in Saucony's for over 30 years, had made the mistake of going to other brands, then could not find Saucony for the longest time when all the "others" appeared, but this is still the best running shoe. Just wish they would of stayed with what works for many of us a...

Having been loyal Saucony and Mizuno fan, I was extremely disappointed with the Black/Gold version of this shoes. It is dreadful! After just working out in the gym, I couldn't wait to get these miserable shoes off my feet! They appeared to be narrower than my previous pairs of Saucony; no forefro...

Trained for my last marathon in the 4's and they were great (got a PB). These 5's have given me leg and foot problems. The forefoot cushioning is not as soft as the 4's. They only lasted me maybe 200 miles. I'm switching shoes.

Fri, June 27,2008:
These are simply the best shoes for my foot type that I have tried. I have high arches, which require a lot of cushioning AND flexibility in a shoe as high-arched feet are already very rigid. I have had severe anterior Tibial Tendonitis in my left foot for the past 3 months and have tried several ...

After trying Muzinos and Asics I decided to give these a try. Finally some cushioning. I do have to adjust the tongue of the shoe as it rubs sometimes on my ankle. I have a wide toe box and these felt great. Finally I can get back to enjoying running.

Fri, May 23,2008:
The cushioning is great, and I love the way the shoe feels. But after about 4 miles, my toes feel like they're being bound with iron. Don't know if my forefoot has all of a sudden grown wider, but the pain is unbearable and I have to try something else. May go back to the Asics Nimbus if they improv...

This is the 3rd version of the Triumph I've owned, and I absolutely love everything about them - except one thing: the outside edge of the sole is too soft. I have a tendency to roll out (way under-pronate), and these shoes have no support on the outside edge of the forefoot. The heel is nice and sn...

Wow! Just came back from my first run in my new 5s and I ran without heel pain from my plantar facsitis (spelling?) in I don't know how long! Whatever they did to the heel in this shoe is just perfect. I wore the 4s before this and liked them, but my heels always hurt. Thought I was just going to ha...

I like the fit and the light weight.Cushioning is just enough for what I love, but I believe it is a better shoe for an efficient runner and I would say it is more a neutral than a neutral+.But I've ran long run with it without any problem.I'll recomand it.

Thu, April 24,2008:
bought the gold 5: likes: softer upper than the blue 4 which gave me toe blisters. nice fit and light weight. Dislikes: These 5's have noticeably less cushion than the #4. My worn out blue 4's still have more cushion than the gold 5's after about 1 month of 30 miles/week. Bottoms of my feet were s...

I LOVE thi shoe! Ran 6 miles in them out of the box. Am training for my first half marathon in June and have been training in these since January. Alternating with the Saucony Progrid Trigon Ride (which actually hurts my pinky toe!). Was trying to save money by not buying two pairs of PGT5 and wil...

I am buying my second pair. I have had no complaints - the cushioning is fine for me. I usually buy neutral shoes and these are neutral plus; they lasted quite a bit longer than my last pair of neutral shoes. I only run in saucony and am currently training for a marathon.

I have the Triumph 4 and was very confident that I would love the Triumph 5. I was right...it is lighter and I can feel the flexibility through the toe region.

I use to run in Asics, the nimbus 7 to be correct but I did not like the nimbus 8 so I tried saucony 4 and like it but they wore out very fast. They then recommend me the saucony 5 and I really love this shoe especially the fit and the heel.We are visiting San Diego in May and I will definitely buy...

this is my favorite shoe, i run between 90 and 110 mpw and find its holding up better than most of my shoes do. i like that its soft but light enough for quicker runs.

What happened to the forefoot cushioning? In search of another shoe! The 4's were great (except, yes, I too noticed the green 4's were softer than the blue 4's-thought it was my imagination). Just bought my last pair of 4's and will be looking for another shoe when they wear out.

I have not run in Saucony in many years, thought I'd give them a try again, and what a pleasant surprise. I alternate these with Asics Gel Nimbus and have not had any problems, had been alternating with Mizuno wave creation but they were breaking down too quickly for the $$$. I have a very high ar...
