Great shoes! I had Hurricane 8's and these are just as soft. Love the fact there is no break in needed. I have the black and light blue ones and trade them off on my runs. They are great for short and long runs! Tried the Asics Gel Kayanos also but they were not as good of a fit for me, even th...

I have been running in the hurricane 9's for the last couple of years and loved them. The 10's don't have enough cushioning in the forefoot. Even my old 9's feel better. Sad to see the change.

I've gone thru 4 pair of Hurricane 9s. I am very disappointed with the 10s. Not enough cushion for a larger runner even on a short run. Anything over 4 miles and I felt like I was fighting the shoes the whole way. They can introduce as many new colours as they want: what they need to introduce i...

I'm surprised to read all of the bad reviews on this shoe. I LOVE this shoe. With most running shoes I've had trouble with them making my ankle hurt, blisters, short tongues slipping to the side- this shoe right out of the box was perfect. I've had them for about 6 months, I teach body step, take bo...

Great out-of-the-box fit and overall a very comfortable shoe; however, the outsole durability is just not acceptable foe a $130 shoe (or for any shoe for that matter). I got about 200 miles out of my first pair, thinking that this must be an anomaly I purchased a second pair only to find them wear ...

I was so excited to try these shoes after nearly 10 years wearing the Shadow 6000. They felt fine in the store, but during my first run, around mile three, my knees started killing me. My feet were rolling out (underpronating) and I had to walk home. Back to the store they go, and back to my old ...

they started out great, after about 25 miles on the treadmill, I thought they were perfect, went for a long run yesterday, by the time I was done my middle 3 toes were killing me. THEY'RE GOING BACK TOMMORROW.

Sun, August 24,2008:
I am not a fan of these shoes, especially compared to earlier models. First, the stitching started to fall apart within two uses. More importantly, however, they do not offer the same support as previous models did. I get pain under my arch when wearing them for an extended period of time. I hop...

I LOVED this shoe! The feel is just perfect! It's light, has a nice wide toe box and is very comfortable. I did, however, go up one FULL size. I think it's a great upgrade!

It took a bit of getting used too compared to the 8 and 9's because it is so much lighter. After 6 months, I can safely say I love it. It is my favorite shoe. All of the support only much lighter. It is also the first time I got 6 months out of the Hurricanes.

wow! I usually uses asics kayano 14 (which I love) - I tried this shoes based on shoedog recommendation. I love it! it's lighter and more flexible than kayano, but yet has great support/cushion. I was able to run 6 miles on it right out of the box without any problem. feels great! now I get to ...

Overall I like the shoe. The only problem, and it's kinda a big one, it has absolutely no support on the outside of my forefoot. My upper foot rolls right over the sole. And the toe box is a little tight for my taste. Love the heel though.

I love these shoes. I am a medium-frame runner with medium arches and slight over- pronation. I can run short distances or long distances in these shoes and -- for the first time, I'm able to run 6 days a week without soreness in my calves. After a session with the ShoeDog, I switched to the Hur...

I have worn the Hurricane 7 and 8 and 9 and even with each minor change, I still loved the shoe. However...the Hurricane 10 is completely different! The toe box is tighter, the heel looser, it feels soft, but not stable... I am soooo disappointed that now I have to go find a completely different ...

I got fitted for the first time and this was one of the few that was recommended to me along with the Asics Kayano. I loved the cushioning of the shoe, the width, and the toe box. Well. I went for a short 4 mile run and my knees were aching after the 3rd mile. I've never experienced this before with...

I was disappointed with this update. I fell in love with the ProGrid Hurricane 9's and can't figure out why Saucony thought they needed to update! The Hurricane 10's lack arch support and the toe box has been narrowed significantly...the shoes rub against my big toe. I tried the wide width and the...

I always used HUrricane stylesfor high mileage training, but the number 10 altough lighter than previous models, changed a lot. iam returning the shoe today, is not bad, but they ctried to make it so light that the cushioning, and overall feeling is completely different.

Geat update. I haven't been impressed with the Hurricane since the 7, but this shoe really delivers. Outstanding fit with amazing cushioning. Good job Saucony!

Fri, April 04,2008:
On the plus side, the Progrid cushioning is exceptional--the best cushioning of any running shoe I've ever tried. Sadly, that's outweighed by the negatives. The stability and arch support are both seriously inadequate. The fit in the heel and midfoot also are very poor. Saucony used to be renown...

Just to clear up a few earlier comments, the Hurricane 10 is a bit lighter in weight than the 9 but it's still intended for medium-large framed runners with low-medium arches. If you have higher arches, a better match would be the Triumph 5. Happy running!

Sat, March 29,2008:
Saucony Hurricanes were always a stability shoe for heavy weight runners. Now, on their tenth attempt, they are recommended for light-weight runners. It seems they are trying to make-up for the exceedingly poor engineering in all of the 2008 models. In my opinion, Stride-Rite has destroyed their ...

Thu, March 27,2008:
I give this shoe three stars because the cushioning is outstanding--probably the best in the busines. The negatives, however, unfortuantely outweight that. The arch is extremely flat and arch support therefore is seriously inadequate for anyone with normal to high arches. Even in the wide size, t...

I've been looking for the right running shoes for a long time! I've finally found something that works perfect for me. I'm a light weight runner that slightly overpronates with medium to low arches...These shoes are very roomy in the toe box (I have wide feet), but narrow enough in the heel to fit j...

I have put 50 miles on these shoes and I love them. People have commented that it wasn't supportive enough, but it has been great for me!

Sat, March 08,2008:
This new shoe doesn't compare to the Hurricane 9, which I absolutely loved. I am disappointed with the stability/arch support and the toe box is more narrow, which doesn't allow for my feet to spread naturally (I do not have wide feet). Pricey shoe for what you get. I thought I found my forever ...
