I've been in Asics for 10 years, but lately have been having problems with their shoes, so I tried Saucony's Guide. I am a convert. These shoes went 5 miles on pavement right out of the box with no blisters. The next day my knees, ankles and feet felt like they had taken a day off!! A bit uncushiony...

I really like these shoes! Very comfortable and light. Everything feels good in them. I did get blisters on the upper part of both my heels, but that's my fault since I wasn't wearing long enough socks. Great all around running shoe w/light stability.

I was wearing the Saucony Triumph 2-4 but was so disapoointed in version 5. But I just tried the new ProGrid Guide and I love it!! Light stability, lots of cushioning, classic Saucony fit!

This is a great shoe. Lighter than a lot of Sauconys but still offers support and cushioning. I respectfully disagree with the person who says it is not attractive! Beauty is in the eye (or foot) of the beholder I guess. Plus, it's a running shoe, not a fashion shoe and some of the running shoe comp...

This shoe is so awesome! It provides stability and cushioning so that I do not get shin splints from overpronating. I love this shoe!

Sun, April 27,2008:
I like the shoes, I really do and as a recent Nike convert, I was surprised at how comfortable they were. I'm just unhappy with the overall look of the shoe. Its fairly unattractive, which is why it loses a star, but overall, I'm happy with the performance. I run about 20 miles per week and am pleas...

Wed, April 23,2008:
I have a really wide forefoot and have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit. The wide width shoes from Saucony have come through for me every time. I can buy my size online and know they will fit great. I do slightly pronate so the Guide line has been the perfect middle to the Ride and the ...

No worries, the cushioning of this shoe is great for long runs. I run the 1/2, and I'm now training for my first full marathon. The arches are just now starting to wear at almost 400 miles. I own other Saucony shoes, but the ProGrid is best for the long days.

Before trying this running shoe, I was fixed on the Asics Gel Kayano 14. When I tried both brands, I was unexpectantly surprised at how comfortable and light the Saucony was. The heel comfort was superb - can't wait to try them out on a long run.

This shoe really feels both stable and soft at the same time. I power walk so I need a flexible, supportive shoe. When I put them on, I knew this was the shoe.
