The overall cushioning system is pretty good. As others have noted, the toe box is a bit narrow, and the tongue does slide during runs. These shoes have worn out much too quickly on the soles & cushioning system in comparison to other brands that I have had (I only run 2-3 miles 5-6x's per wk.). ...

I like the cushioning but I am also having a very hard time with the tongue sliding. I constantly have to adjust the tongue and retie which is a pain.

toe box has rubber strip over bunion area of foot instead of mesh. I had to cut with a knife to provide some "give" over that area.

I've worn this shoe's previous version, the Trigon Ride, and loved them for their soft sole and wide toe box. Don't care for this one; Saucony seems to have cut into the toe box, and it's narrower. I can't run much more than six or seven miles before I get blisters on the balls of my feet, and bey...

I had the saucony progrid trigon 5 before I purchased the ride. Unfortunately, the ride has a much narrower toe box and is not quite as comfortable. Please let Saucony know that we runners need the wider toe box. Otherwise, the shoe is a decent runner.

This is my third pair of Saucony Rides and I feel it would be the perfect shoe if the toe box was a bit wider. It has excellent cushioning and is very comfortable, except for the place where my little toe rubs against the edge of the toe box. Unfortunately, this has been the case in every model I've...

Love, love, love these shoes. I bought these after the previous Saucony's I wore were disconintued and the replacement pair of Asics I got turned out to be duds. These shoes feel like they were made for my feet and the cushioning is perfect.

Mon, August 25,2008:
I'm a long-time Saucony fan and this shoe was highly rated, but this shoe is a change from the previous Ride models. The toe box feels like it's been cut off in front so my big toe now feels jammed. The back of the shoe also seems shorter so my heel constantly feels like it wants to slip out. A d...

I find this shoe to be very comfortable with the right amount of support but the tongue continues to shift multiple times throughout a run. I find myself stopping to tie these shoes again and again and it is getting very frustrating. Anyone else have this experience with this or any other shoe? A...

I want to like this shoe, but had a hard time with the fit, likely because of my orthotic. I'm looking for a replacement for my Brooks Radius (boo to Brooks for discontinuing them, and, no, I don't find the Defyance to be equivalent). This shoe has lots of really nice cushioning, and feels very co...
