I am a diehard Saucony fan but I have to say I am disappointed in these. The tongue keeps sliding to the side making the shoe very uncomfortable on the top of my foot. Not sure what the problem is because the Omni 6 did not have this problem. I am returning them.

I have been struggling with a foot injury for many, many months. I have tried several different brands and styles of running shoes but until I tried this one, there wasn't anything even remotely similiar to the fit and comfort of this one. Since the day I put these on and subsequently ran a full marathon with no pain, I have never been this satisfied with a pair of running shoes.

I have run in Sauconys for the past 7 years and this was the only shoe for me. However, I am disappointed in that this is the 2nd pair I've had to return because they started making the tongue shorter, causing it to move to the side during a run or uncomfortably rub my foot. I would have given this shoe 5 stars but because of this recent change in the construction, they are now a 2. Sorry Saucony.

I have been a fan of these shoes since the 5's and while these are a little different (the part around the heel feels a little shorter) I like them almost better than the 5's. I have always had problems with shin splints, and these shoes did the trick.

compared to the omni 6's, these suck.
i have developed knee and hip probs after running in these only 3 weeks. they feel alright when running, but later i ache all night.im tired of saucony making shoes for less than a year and then "improving" them.
loved the omni 6's, cant get anymore.

Unfortunately these shoes feel great initially but don't breath well once you start running. I've used them several times now and what starts out at 10.3 ounces ends up feeling like cement blocks with laces. I'm from Texas so it's of course really hot...but I've never had shoes I could hear the sloshing of my feet in after only about an hour.

The sole on this shoe is great--similar to the omni 6, with a little more cushion. I don't like the new upper though! Compared to the 6, it doesn't fit me as well--the toebox is flatter and the midfoot feels wider so that the whole shoe feels sort of sluggish. Sadly, these will not be my next marathon shoes...
