I'm so happy to be back in my MC saucony! I tried another brand last year and ended up with tendonitis and knee problems. I put this shoe on for the first time and ran a 7k without any problem.... great motion control! I have moderate pronation and a somewhat wide foot and this shoe gives me the motion control, cushioning and larger toe box. I'm ordering another pair!

These shoes are awesome. I am not a runner but have a problem with over- pronation. These shoes have been great and I would recommend to anyone.

Disappointed is an understatement. Why did they change this shoe? I was on my 3rd pair and ready for the 4th. Now, I have the start the search all over for a pair of running shoes that work for me. It took a couple of years,several pairs of running shoes/brands and painful running to find these shoes. Road Runner please recommend a good replacement for this shoe.

These shoes do not have the same amount of awesome support as the previous model. I have never had knee issues till I bought this model. The toe box is bigger and the cushioning is lacking. Why they changed such a terrific shoe....

I have run in the Grid Stabil for ,10 years and this is not the same shoe! The first run out I developed giant blisters on my heel.

SO DISAPPOINTED! Have run in Saucony's Stabil for 8 years. These lack the support, cushion, fit ...like I was wearing a completely different shoe. Why did they make such a drastic change? Talk about fixing something when it ain't broke! Trying to run in Mizunos now but it's just not the same. Please bring back the old Stabil!

I've been wearing various versions of this shoe for years now. I am plagued by fallen arches, plantar fasciitis and heel spurs and this shoe provides great comfort. My only criticism is that Saucony, like every company, comes up with new models to replace the old each year. The newer model isn't always better than the previous one, and I've been disappointed a few times. Fortunately, RoadRunner Sports allows VIP customers time to try out a shoe and return it if it's wrong. I think this current model might be as good as the original that I purchased years ago, though. I recommend it for anyone who has plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, fallen arches and/or flat feet.

Although I'm not an avid athlete (average 15-20 miles per week), I love these shoes. I over-pronate and wear orthotics and I haven't experienced any ankle or knee pain. Can't wait to buy another pair. Happy running!

I've been using this shoe and its predecessors for over 10 years and it is the only shoe that doesn't cause me knee injuries. I have a very high arch, but I pronate, and I am also a slightly wider foot (although overall still average width).

Today I ran 5 miles with no problem at all! I'm new in the running business :) so I was recommended by a friend to go RR and get running shoes but the first ones I bought were not good @ all :( they were Brooks I think Arial and I wore them for almost 90 days and I could only run for about 2 miles before my right knee was hurting so I decided to go back and exchange them for something else because I couldn't take the pain and I love running. [...] Like I mention earlier I love this shoes specifically because my knee DOES NOT hurt at all after 5 miles it's amazing :) I can't wait to go run tomorrow! I really hope you find this helpful and trust me these shoes are totally worth it!!!!

I have been wearing the Saucony Grid Stabil for over 10 years. However, for the Grid Stabil 6 (the previous version) they seemed to have changed the design, so they were awful. After much frustration, I spoke to a representative of Saucony at the NYC Marathon Expo and he encouraged me to try the newest model - the ProGrid Stabil. It is a great shoe. Works perfectly for me, especially since I pronate a lot. Although I only run about 20 miles a week, I do run at least one marathon a year. A good fitting running shoe is a true necessity.

I'm so happy to have these shoes I'm ordering another pair. I have moderate pronation and this is the only shoe that gives me the support and cushioning I need, plus the larger toe box to accomodate my wide foot. I tried another brand last year and got the worst tendonitis along with knee problems. I put these on for the first time to run a 7k and they were fabulous! Just like I remember my old Saucony's before last year's switch. Super happy!

I agree the old Stabil is much better--this one does have a stitch that rubs the little toe. Also, each shoe is stitched a bit differently...I bought/returned 3 pairs before I realized that they are just not identical shoes--the left and right one are stitched differently (placement of decorative stripes, etc.) Strange...not the quality I'm used to with Saucony. Regardless, once I broke them in, they got more comfortable, and I have had a very hard time finding a replacement, so I guess I'll stick to these until they re-vamp them again (soon I hope!!).

I run about 15-20 miles a week and am still increasing. I love this show. I have an over pro nation and this finally fixed the problem. Best investment ever! I also have wide feet and this was great. No longer losing toenails and having leg pain.

These were a huge disappointment. After running several pairs of Saucony's Stabil MC 5 for the past few years, I tried out this new version. Each run in them brought new blisters and different pains in my knees and lower legs.

I recently started running again and I noticed I kept getting shin splints. I have mild overpronation and after reviewing many shoes I decided to buy this one and it was a great choice! My knees and shins no longer hurt while I run and I can go longer. The only problem with them was the thin insole so I decided to buy Spenco For Her Cushion Soles (from Lady Footlocker) and my feet feel great.
