Decent shoe, I think the Lunar Racer has much better cushioning for the weight. These run a little wide and a little long. I would recommend downsizing 1/2 size from regular running shoe size. You don't want to swim in a show when you are racing. They are fast, very good outsole that grips well.

Very surprised with the amount of support for such a racer. It gives me the impression of a light weight trainer without the weight.

Great shoe. They wear like trainers but at 6 Oz. I ran a 10K in a torrential rainstorm in these. They held up great did not stretch, and Saucony even thought of placing drain holes in the sole so the water drained out immediately. I have run half marathons in these and the support is great. I might try wearing for a marathon they are so light and comfortable.

The A2 is my absolute favorite race-day shoe. It's perfect for 5k's up to the 1/2 marathon. I'm a light runner (120 lbs) and wouldn't write-off the possibility of running a marathon in them. They seem to have the just-right blend of smooth cushioning and very light weight for me. Fit is fantastic for my feet (just like a sock). The outsole on these shoes also wears longer than other lightweight racers I've used. I plan on stocking up on the A2 before the design changes. I'm running the red/black 2008 version rather than the blue/white 2009 version, but Saucony hasn't changed the fit/last for 2009 (just the color scheme).
